Overview
In the heart of the Apulia region, just 15 km from the Ionian Sea, Vecchia Mottola Albergo Diffuso offers rooms in the historic centre of Mottola. Conveniently located, Mottola is set 387 metres above sea level in the Apulian hills in the province of Taranto. Close to the region of Basilicata, this area is also rich in attractions, such as Grotte di Castellana and the historic city of Matera. Some of the rooms come with a kitchenette, and others feature a raised sleeping area. Locally produced wine, pasta, olive oil and ceramics can be bought at reception. Breakfast can be enjoyed on request at a bar in the historic centre, and consists of a glass of fruit juice, a croissant, and a cappuccino.

The room was architecturally authentic, and they provided gluten-free croissants to suit my diet. The air conditioning was quite efficient, although the lighting was bright enough to interfere with sleep quality.

“Visiting Puglia”
The location of the apartment is excellent, just off the main square. The breakfast offered at the cafe della posted was typically Italian, fresh Cornetto and coffee with the locals. Our host was very helpful and welcoming. We were able to check-in early, we used this as a base to see the Giro d'italia which proved a wise choice.

The apartment is located at very center of the Mottola town. A minute from your place, you can observe amazing sunset and view nice scenery. The town is having interesting authentic vibe of Italy. Near your apartment is very nice square with bar and bistro.
