“Wonderful relaxing beach break in a traditional hotel- not touristy 🥰”
The location was great! The staff were friendly and helpful. The tapas was delicious and generous. The lift was very welcome. Free onsite secure car parking was an added bonus. I enjoyed my stay and would love to come again.

“Great place to stay for touring motorcyclists. Would highly recommend.”
Very comfortable and affordable and the staff were friendly. I was able to park my motorcycle securely in their carpark and it did not cost anything to do so unlike a lot of places in Spain. The breakfast was excellent.

Not the most salubrious but everything was clean and comfortable, friendly staff and the bar and restaurant were excellent. The food was outstanding. Superb value for money.

We really like Hotel Estrella del Mar. Excellent staff including lovely receptionist, and the staff working in the restaurant and bar. We arrived late but there was a warm welcome from everyone and we were seved food and drinks very quickly. Fab atmosphere in all areas. The room was very good with a big terrace to sit outside and eat, and also a very handy washing line to dry laundry. New bathroom with large walk in shower, bidet, handbasin and toilet. Very comfy beds we had the best sleep here, we have been travelling for a few weeks. Good car park behind the hotel which is locked at night. Very close to the sea. We highly recommend this excellent hotel.

Everything.... it's to much to say all... Since the receptionist at 00h10 smiley and helpful, to the bartenders, waiters, to the housekeepers that great you when you pass; I asked for a extra pillow and I had it when I arrived; the spacy room; the environment, the cleanliness in side and out side: the 2 minutes walk to the beach; the parking included: the amazing breakfast with smoked ham "presunto" not normal ham; the food that I had in 3 meals was very good; the staff; Amazing... I recommend. My daughter is living with mom for last 3 years in Motril. I visit her twice a year. Now I know where I'm staying when I visit her.
