“Awesome night stay”

The interior design is very nice. The spacious room makes it easy to open luggage and move around. I love the toilet design and the awesome outdoor onsen is so relaxing. The tatami beds are comfortable too. The washing machine and dryer available make it easy for us to wash clothes.

“A Real Japanese experience”

I love the view and how close it is to cafes and the beach. Not very close to restaurants, you will need a car for sure. It was the authentic Japanese home with modern features. It's small but perfect for our honeymoon. No TV so you can wake up and look out to the ocean, watch the birds and for butterfly lovers and the like bug watching.

The view is outstanding. This is what you are paying for. The cottage is traditional Japanese style with a modern shower, bathroom, and a well stocked kitchen. It is not the most spacious but definitely works for a couple. It has a nice vibe in the evening when you close the Japanese doors. It's a unique place. Different to other places we stayed in in Okinawa and mainland Japan. There are some lovely beaches nearby. I must note that we did not encounter any bugs, as mentioned in previous reviews on Booking.com.

“Secluded nice villa with an amazing view and an open air bath to die for”

The host sent me a message with a detailed direction on how to get to the property and the pin for the door on the day for check in. They also proactively reached out to me to make sure that I have checked in okay. There is a book of manual to tell you how to use everything in the room and it is available in English so we could use everything without any problem. That was a very considerate and thoughtful touch! Though with the price we paid, we expected great quality of facilities, we were surprised with top notch facilities!! We enjoyed our bath in open air and was greeted by a cute black cat. With the balcony, we can see see birds chilling on the grass or rocks. It was such a peaceful place to stay. As unbelievable as it may sound, but having no TV in the room is actually a bonus for you to relax and enjoy quality time with your family. Thank you so much for letting us stay, it was wonderful!

The property is finished to a very high standard. The property brings a fusion of Japanese traditional craftsmanship and modern luxuries. The tatami floor was lovely and the paper screens and carpentry were amazing. We particularly loved the outdoor onsen.

“Good but expected a bit better”

Good location (if you want something quiet outside the city). Close to Sesoko Beach (25 minutes walk) which is simply breathtaking. The villa (not the one with the private pool) is spacious, well designed, with a nice little yard, a great bathroom, and the view is great. The traditional japanese style is quite nice. Easy self check-in and check-out (don't expect to see the hosts) and there is free parking.

Beautifully presented property in a good location. Excellent bathrooms and rooms and staff service when we needed it was prompt and helpful. The outside ofuro bath was great to have. Lovely sounds of nature too.
