Amazing house, perfect for a friendgroup or a couples trip. So comfortable and beautiful nature around the house.

This hostel is a must. The staff are very nice and lovely. The view, The hamac and the tatami everything was perfect.

- Hosts are very friendly and makes space for conversation with each other. Haven't thought I am able to make friends during a trip! : )) - Nice view surrounded by the greens. I spent a while in the terrace in the morning, very chill & peaceful. - Aquarium and beaches are very accessible - If I come again, hope to see the sunset around the area or in the hostel. will be great!

“Immaculate hostel in Motobu”

The staff member was friendly and welcoming (good luck on your next adventure!). It’s in a great location in the Yanbaru mountains and I can’t get over how cheap it was! The double room was only $55AUD a night! The room had its own aircon which was a blessing in 35 degree humidity. Plus, there was a spacious deck looking into the rainforest, Everything was super clean too. Perfect for a couple but I selfishly used it as a solo traveller. The dorm pods looked comfy and had fans.

Everything made me to have a perfect experience. The location is wonderful, the hostel is really cozy but the best of everything was the staff. Congratulations!

Exceeded my expectations, Mambo Hostel really is something special. The staff (Daiki, Yumena, Ryota, and Seiya) are down-to-earth, friendly and so so kind. I have fond memories of chatting with the staff and guests every night sitting around the floor table together. Their warm-heartedness is in the way they welcome you back, ask how your day was, and tell you "be safe" when you head out. Beds are comfortable, beach house is just great vibes overall, and the shared facilities (water filter, kitchen, laundry, bathroom) are all available for your convenience. Also, driving around the island was absolutely gorgeous!!

I really loved the whole atmosphere of the place, it was so peaceful and beautifully surrounded by nature. Also everything in the hostel was very clean.

Lovely place, amazing people. The hosts took me snorkelling and to local restaurants. Had the best time here and stayed even one night longer.

Amazing stay in Okinawa if you travel alone. Many thanks to the staff who made me fell home from the very first day. I met a lot of new friends in this hostel and I had the best time on the island.

Super friendly staff! Thank you Kai-san! Nice interior design, comfy beds, clean space. Surrounded by nature. I only stayed for 1-night and there wasn't many people when I went there but they held activities, everyone hangs out at lounge and get to know each other.

Property had a cool tropical vibe to it. The fan in the bed was really helpful as it can get warm at night. The host was really nice and showed us around the area.

The staff and manager were nice and friendly. The room was clean and neat. Bed was comfy. Lovely balcony to spend the morning. 3 mins drive from Churaumi Aquarium, would go back to this hotel again in future! They only accept cash so remember to bring along cash.

I loved the location tucked away in the green. Everyone was very kind and although I came alone, it felt like I had booked a trip with friends. The hosts are very helpful and they were taking us to the beach everyday. It was very chill and you could also easily do your own thing. If you want a real and good okinawa experience, I can really recommend !

“Amazing hostel with friendly staff”

Most comfortable stay in a hostel I’ve ever had. The attention to detail is amazing, so many little things to make your life easier when travelling (shelves and mirrors by dorm beds, free washing machine and towels, free parking, good communal kitchen). The staff are so lovely and welcoming too, the whole place has a really nice, chilled atmosphere. It’s also in a great location and is in a great sunset viewing spot.

Mambo hostel is probably one of the best, coolest and most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed at. The host is welcoming and shown great hospitality to the visiting guests The hostel location very close to the Churaumi aquarium which you can easily get to by Okinawa Airpot shuttle. The hostel itself is well designed. The environment is very chill and relaxed. I remember fondly sleeping on the hammock at the balcony, listening to the sound of birds The sleeping cubical are beautifully crafted and provided me good privacy and plug for charging! Thank for the enjoyable stay, I definitely will come back and stay there again and for longer!!!

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! They took the time to chat with us, get to know us, and they all even walked us out to the parking lot/ gave us hugs/waved goodbye to us as we were leaving. I got the feeling they really enjoy this job - that they really love living in motobu/okinawa, sharing with others, and getting know and connect with travelers from around the world. They even organized a hotpot dinner for guests!
