“An oasis in moshi”

This hotel was lovely, a little oasis. Would recommend to anyone staying near Kilimanjaro. Staff lovely and friendly, hotel very clean and the food is of very good quality and very reasonably priced. Lovely pool - big enough to swim in and rooms and the gardens were beautiful with plenty of places to sit and relax.

The Service in the hotel was excellent; every staff we met was service minded and friendly. Our cottage with 2 bedrooms is very spacious and super clean. The terrace outside has comfortable sofa. Due to the rain, we did not use the private pool outside of our cottage, although the staff have kept it very clean throughout our stay. We had dinner in the hotel, the food were excellent and service superb. Our private driver & guider drove us around in the area, trying to catch a view of Kilimanjaro, unfortunately, due to the cloudy weather we did see anything. However, the next morning, we saw a clear and beautiful view of the mountain from the Flamingo lodge.

I stayed at Pink Flamingo Boutique Hotel and everything was … pink-perfect. From the very first moment, I felt welcome - not the “hotel-welcome-smile”, but the real one. The team and crew are absolutely fantastic: well-trained, professional, kind, and always ready to help (sometimes even before you ask). You can really feel that they know what they’re doing - and they do it with heart. The kitchen deserves a special mention. I normally never order Italian food abroad … but this time I broke my own rule and ordered pasta. Big mistake? No. Big surprise! It was excellent - really excellent. Complimenti to the kitchen 👌 The price? Totally fair for what you get. Service? Spot on. Atmosphere? Relaxed, friendly, and feel-good. In short: if you come to Moshi and don’t stay here, the flamingos might be offended 🦩😉 I’ll definitely be back.

From the moment you check in it is relaxing and a perfect place to stay, nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are all friendly and welcoming. Location is fantastic, great views of Kilimanjaro, wish we had stayed more than one night. Rooms have lots of plug points which is better than many hotels.

Wow! Little oasis and slice of paradise. Wonderful setting in beautiful grounds. Huge room with private pool and amazing facilities. Great service - from cold flannel on welcome to friendly and attentive service. Hotel organised well priced tour guide to take us to the local town and to local Springs. Fab time.

“A tranquil gem before and after Kili”

This was the perfect place to stay both before and after our Mt Kili hike. The hotel is a beautifully appointed boutique space that exudes understated luxury — peaceful, intimate, and thoughtfully designed. The pool was a welcome treat, and the food was delicious and of excellent value (which is noteworthy as if you don't have a car, there aren't any other food choices close by). The staff were very friendly and happily stored our luggage that we didn't require for the hike.

“An Unforgettable Stay: A Boutique Hotel Gem with a View of Kilimanjaro”

What a gem! We travel a lot, but I think this place is definitely in our top three of unique destinations we've visited. The little boutique hotel is owned and managed by a charming and lovely Italian lady with a great eye for detail. Everything about it is of high standards - service, furnishings, garden, and decoration. The room was stunning - it was so spacious, with even fresh flowers. The coffee was the best (there were even different coffee machines!), and the pasta tasted like it was made in heaven. It was such a great and welcome change from the African cuisine (which we also love). We almost had the entire place to ourselves, so we truly felt like royalty. And we were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaro - what an unforgettable experience! Absolut great value for money. We wished we would have stayed more nights there - for us it was 10 times more relaxing than in our Zanzibar stay (and also, in our humble opinion, with an even better view).
