If you’re gonna be in the Kilimanjaro area, this is the place to stay at! Me and my two sons had a wonderful stay at Kiwavi Home. Simba is very welcoming and friendly and can always help you with any question you have whether it’s things to do and see around Moshi, how to get around or how to get a good price in the market :) The breakfast is amazing! It’s also nice that you have a kitchen you can use together with others and other rooms that are shared, in that way you have the chance to talk to other people from all over the world! Thank you Simba and crew for a great stay.

If you want a home away from home, this is the place to be! The room itself was very comfortable and clean, the shower had very hot water and the pressure was very very strong. The grounds have beautiful gardens with a nice view of Kilimanjaro. There are beautiful plants and places to relax with the most friendly dog and cat. The breakfast is amazing. Something different each day with a lot of effort put into the food. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Simba takes time for everyone who stays there and will always be happy to help you out. Thanks again for my stay!

“Amazing experience with amazing breakfast and cute dog”

I stayed in Kiwavi for two weeks. The room is nice and clean with good hot shower. WiFi works pretty good. The location is a bit outside of town so it’s quiet but not far from the town. I can see Kilimanjaro from the rooftop. The breakfast is AMAZING! Especially the pancakes. Coffee is fresh made-it’s NOT instant coffee thank god. Simba is very nice and helpful and always joeful sometimes I am jealous he is always so happy Hahha. The Laundry service is very good and affordable. I love the big dog Bahati.

Very nice place to stay, the rooms are clean and comfortable, it has a nice and big garden and rooftop with a nice view of the Kilimanjaro :) Nice breakfast with different kind of food every day 😋 Clean kitchen and drinking water available. It was also the only place we were in Tanzania that separates the waste 🌍

“Lovely stay in a secluded villa overlooking Mount Kilimanjaro”

We immediately felt welcomed and at home at Kiwavi Home. Our family room was super spacious and comfortable. Loved the vintage feel of the bathroom and dressing! The breakfast was scrumptious and different every morning. The outside lounge areas at super cosy and we really enjoyed discussing with Joy about the social work she and Simba conduct in the villages neighbouring Moshi. We will definitely come back!

The space was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious and unique. Staff were friendly and the furry friends Bahati and Furaha made the stay more pleasant. I'll be back
