“Lovely place before and after Kilimanjaro trek”

We stayed at Honey Badger before and after our trek to Kilimanjaro. The place is quite, it's nice to relax around the pool. The food was really good (buffet in the evening, Bugergs at lunch); the staff was super friendly. Bedrooms are spacious and comfy

“Nice facilities, not a great location”

Room was very large and comfortable, excellent decor, bonus private mini pool in the back.

The property is beautiful and relatively peaceful - the neighbourhood can be noisy. The rooms are stunning and many have a private pool. The staff are all so friendly and helpful.

The location of the lodge, the well kept garden and flowers, the friendly staff, comfortable rooms, relaxing restaurant and bar. I certainly did not want to leave!

The tranquil location, the friendly staff, the homely rooms, such a lovely place to stay for a quiet relaxing break. Having stayed last year, I was welcomed back like a member of the family. I felt very comfortable, safe and looked after by the staff.

Peaceful oasis in the middle of Moshi, with great food and view on Mount Kilimanjaro. Spacious African rooms and nice swimming pool. Honey badger lodge actually is part of a local cooperation with a school to teach young children and prepare them for further education. By staying here you also support a social purpose.

Joe and his staff were amazing. They were perfect hosts , accomodating all our needs and any enquires with such grace and warmth. The communal areas were wonderful and we were made to feel so welcome.

“Great place in Moshi area”

The hut we stayed in was very comfortable and airy. Lovely pool and bar area. Friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner available with good menu. Free afternoon tea/coffee and snacks a nice touch too. Fun to see the animals on site as well - especially the monkeys and tortoises!

Very rustic African charm, great layout and well maintained grounds. Monkeys and African tortoises roaming around the grounds. Food and service were great. Excellent swimming pool area. Massages also available which are great after Kilimanjaro hikes. Great vibe to the Honey Badger.

Thank you for the kind hospitality. I spent my last day at this hotel after 3 weeks in the region. Perfect place for recovery and chill. I loved the monkeys playing in the garden and also saw a big turtle :)

An amazing place to relax after Kili and safari. The guy in charge of the hotel (apologies, didn't get his name) was attentive, polite, and resourceful. The breakfast, lunch and dinner were exceptional.

(technical) things that are not oke are repaired quickly. My toilet had a small problem and they gave me another (bigger room immediately. There was a small problem with the cold water supply and the next day the water pipes were dug out and the problem was solved. Apart from that , the staff are really nice and attentive.
