“Very nice apartment that holds everything you need for a great vacation”

When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by our hosts and shown the entrance to this little paradise. The whole house is - like many houses in this area - built into the hillside. The surrounding area (garden) is very well looked after and offers plenty of spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view. As the house is built into the hillside, you can think of the gardens as several terraces spread all over the place. Right outside the front door there is a garden table with chairs in the shade, where we usually had our meals. Inside, we found a well-equipped kitchen with an open living room and a bathroom. Upstairs are two bedrooms and the second bathroom. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, which was very important for us. All windows have external blinds, so you can extend the night if you want a bit more sleep ;). The beds are a bit on the softer side which might be a bit uncomfortable for heavier sleepers or if you just prefer a hard bed. But that's a personal preference. The city centre and the beaches can be reached quickly via stairs across the street which our hosts showed us. There are great restaurants and also a supermarket that has everything you need. The beaches were crowded, but as we visited in the high season we expected that. However, we always found a spot not far from the water - so no problem. What should not be left unmentioned: The apartment is located directly next to the coastal road - which means a lot of traffic. Especially in high season. The apartment itself is really well shielded from the noise - you don't hear that much. But occasionally the loudest will be hearable. We really enjoyed our stay here and can absolutely recommend it.
