We have just returned from our first stay at XQ El Palacete, and what a wonderful experience it was. The hotel’s location is exceptional, overlooking the beach with stunning views of the ocean, but what truly sets this place apart is the people. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Their warmth and dedication create such a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere, and they are undoubtedly the reason so many guests return year after year. The rooms were immaculate throughout our stay. They were cleaned daily to an exceptionally high standard, with fresh towels provided each day and the added touch of a nightly turndown service. Having a spacious balcony with uninterrupted sea views was a real luxury and meant we could enjoy the beautiful surroundings at any time of day. Waking up to the sight and sound of the ocean each morning was simply wonderful. The food was one of the highlights of our stay. The quality, variety, and presentation were outstanding, with every meal offering something delicious to enjoy. Breakfast provided a fantastic start to each day, while dinner was always something to look forward to, with an excellent selection of fresh and beautifully prepared dishes. We also loved spending time at the pool snack bar. Whether enjoying lunch, a coffee, or a cold drink in the sunshine, it was the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. The service there was every bit as excellent as throughout the rest of the hotel. Our favourite time of day was gathering for pre-dinner drinks overlooking the beach. Watching the sky gradually change colour as the sun set each evening was simply spectacular. The ever-changing shades of gold, orange, pink, and purple reflected across the sea created a breathtaking backdrop and became a cherished part of our daily routine.

“A lovely boutique hotel with fantastic views and lovely staff”

This is a four star hotel but the service and staff are five star. The hotel is situated in the heart of Morro Jable and a short walk into the small town with some cafes and bars, it overlooks the beach and sea and the views are outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. This started when we arrived late, Fuerteventura Airport requires new arrivals to register biometrics on their new system so it took an hour to get processed and we were delayed. However, the staff realised this and saved us supper, they set a table especially for us, it was much appreciated as we were tired and hungry by the time we got there. We were half board and the food was exceptional for buffet style, one of my bug bears at buffet meals is that the food can be luke warm but not here, the soups were great and there was a grill for fish and meat to be made on demand with a hot and cold array of vegetables and sides. It is not a large hotel so you the restaurant itself does not feel like a canteen like many large hotels, it manages to maintain some quiet ambience by having two sittings so it doesn't feel crowded. This also means that you do get to know the staff and fellow guests better. There was never a problem getting a sunbed, there is a policy of no saving beds which was fair for everyone. I would highly recommend a stay here and would love to go back sometime.

The location was perfect, the hotel is nice and clean, breakfast and dinner are to die for, swimming pool , jacuzzi were heated.

Location excellent, room overlooking the sea and the breakfast/dinner terrace were great. Buffet food on the whole good, plenty of choice. Fresh cooking station for fish and meat at dinner was excellent. Close to the most gorgeous beach and also a small number of bars and restaurants.

“Wonderful stay”

Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, steps from a fantastic beach, with plenty more stunning beaches within a short driving distance. We arrived very late after an evening flight, car hire office etc and were given a lovely welcome with a glass of cava and a great meal waiting for us. The room was exceptionally comfortable and had an amazing sea view. Food excellent. As others have said, the stand out here are the brilliant team, led by visible management. Special mentions to Sara, Esther and Hassan but everyone was fantastic.We are already talking about returning.Thank you!

The hotel was situated right on the beach and in the centre of town. We arrived hot and tired and were offered a parking space outside the door and a glass of cava. Room was prepared early for us and was immaculate. Complementary bottle of wine and water in our room. Staff were super helpful and friendly.
