“Loved it, hope to go back some day!”

Loved Chez Max so much I ended up staying over 3 weeks. The staff are the best, breakfast delicious and homemade, enchanting garden with beautiful hummingbirds, cute bungalows and fab swimming pool with a view! The restaurant on site is also delicious for wood fired pizza and fresh pasta. Thanks to everyone there who made my stay unforgettable! 😊

I stayed in a bungalow and it’s just perfect. Comfortable bed, great bathroom and so quiet at night. Ow and fantastic breakfast!

We had a good stay. The island is beautiful (especially the 4th and 5th beaches), the staff was friendly. The place has potential, and the room was quite spacious and cleaned daily (which is great because of the amount of sand you bring in after the beach). The balcony was also very spacious and comfy.

We loved the bungalow and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Location is also great 😊 the breakfast is amazing. They had renovations going, but that didn't bother us at all, since all the workers were very polite and only worked at sensible times while we weren't there.

The Chez Max Pousada was a perfect place to enjoy a few days in Morro de Sao Paulo. The location on the Third Beach is great as you are close to the calm Forth and Fifth Beach and also to the vivid First and Second Beach. The staff was exceptionally nice and the whole area was clean and cozy. Breakfast was very tasty and as they always offer something different you do not eat the same thing every day. I recommend this place 100%.

Having a private but covered hammock was nice when it rains and you want to chill. The onsite restaurant is excellent, and the pasta and pizza are authentic Italian.

Lovely small poussada set in beautiful gardens and close to beaches and shops but away from the noise of the main centre. Very friendly and helpful staff

Lovely hotel set in beautiful tropical gardens just on sea front a little away from main drag in Morro. We chose sea view appartments but I think the garden bungalows are better n more spacious with more privacy, where our friends stayed. Really lovely staff and owners who were really helpful, very good breakfast and best meal we had in Morro in their restaurant in the evening. Well recommended.

Nature, ambience, accomodation

Fantastic location- quiet, but still close to all the action of 1a and 2a praia, but also close to the beautiful 3a and 4 praia. The bungalow was very comfortable with a modern bathroom and an amazing hot shower! We loved sitting on the verandah and watching the rain! While the internet in the rooms comes and goes, wifi in the restaurant area worked well enough for work Zoom calls.

We loved the nature around the bangalow. In the mornings you could only hear the birds singing. And the location is perfect. Right before the third beach but near all the restaurants and night life.
