França and Charlie are lovely hosts. The casa is gorgeous and in a great location secluded but a close walk to the beaches and restaurants when needed.

“Absolutely perfect”

Amazing hosts, Franca and Charlie are lovely, incredibly helpful, and just very cool people. The house is by itself in a big garden full of birds, butterflies and cute marmosets, you get all the privacy and tranquillity you can ask for, plus a gorgeous view. It is very tastefully and efficiently decorated, the kitchen is well equipped, and despite not being very big the house is very comfortable and has everything you may need. We initially booked it for 5 days and then extended for another week, we'd have stayed longer if it were available, it was just perfect. We worked remotely the whole time, there is good speed internet with a strong signal. The beach is right below, it has some good swimming spots along it and you can easily walk to Gamboa and Clay Hill on low tide. From the centre of Morro you reach the house after a short hike through the forest, then up a few steps – it’s a pretty area and we actually appreciated the walk after sitting all day at our laptops, plus most pousadas on the quiet side of Morro have steps, as they’re up a hill. Casa Shuhari is the most beautiful and memorable accommodation we have ever stayed in, we are certainly going to come again.
