I had a really pleasant stay overall. The environment was calm, clean, and very relaxing—perfect for unwinding. The atmosphere made it easy to feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. The kitchen staff were wonderful—friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The food was consistently delicious, well-prepared, and offered a great variety. Every meal was something to look forward to. The rooms were also very nice—clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The only downside was the heat, which made things a bit uncomfortable at times. Overall, a great experience thanks to the lovely environment, excellent food, and dedicated staff.

“Great ambience and location but too hot for me”

The venue itself was super beautiful and in a great location. I loved the ambience and the balance every morning watching the birds and the lizard was a highlight.

Very nice staff and a great place to stay while in Morondava. The price was very low for what you got. The food from the restaurant was very nice as well; although not the cheapest, it was still a fair price.

We booked a two person room but after 1 night we changed to a three person room for more space and to have an a/c. The two person room only had a ventilator while the three person room has a nice a/c. The three person room was very nice, we loved the extra space. The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing and the staff is very nice!

“Convenient Hotel for Exploring Morondava”

The hotel and the rooms were clean and well presented with a laid back atmosphere, situated on the main tourist strip of Morondava and on the side of the Hellot Canal. The hotel has a restaurant that serves breakfast and other meals. However, we only had breakfast (which was reasonably good) as there are a lot of other restaurants within 10 minutes walk. The hotel would be ideal for travellers looking to stay in Morondava for a few days for a very reasonable cost.
