“Excellent accommodation.”
It was like a home away from home, I could come and go as I pleased and use the facilities when I wanted. Extras were provided such as snacks. Clean, warm and comfortable.

“Worth to stay”
It is local, traditional Japanese style. You can see wooden structure inside. Rooms are tidy n clean. Walk few minutes from train station.

“Engaging host and communal setting”
It's more of ryokan setup. I liked the energetic host Yoko, and I liked the informality and good conversations in a very communal setting.

A lovely house and host, highly recommended. The location is certainly not scenic but I found this to be an excellent and very reasonably priced choice to explore the hills of Saitama prefecture by bike.

The host, Yoko, is the best. She is such a relaxed and funny person and made me feel so at home. The room was amazingly beautiful, it was a real traditional Japanese tatami room like how you’d imagine a traditional Japanese house to be. I got to try many new flavors of food and the station, hospital, supermarkets, good places to eat (try Tanayaka for really good and authentic noodles) and mountains are all close by. And the traditional bath and shower are a great and very clean place to relax after a long hike. Bonus: you can climb a mountain from where you can see all over Tokyo if the weather is good. If you want to quickly get out of Tokyo for a few days to unwind and relax, this is the perfect place.
