“Beautiful home with all the added touches of a host that really cares !”
A beautiful home to stay in, we didn’t want to leave the accommodation once we had checked in! Lovely outdoor area to sit and have a complimentary coffee in , every facility you need is provided from robes to pantry essentials. A large kitchen/ living room to be shared with other potential guests but as we were only guests felt like an entire home to ourselves to relax and make a meal, sit and watch a movie etc.

Beautiful and comfortable home. The hosts were so welcoming and went out of their way to ensure that I had what I needed. All facilities were first class. The bed was so comfortable with a choice of duvets and pillows. Also a short easy walk into Mornington Main Street and cafes also very close by. Can't thank you both enough for hosting me.

“Good for the soul”
The house was really beautiful and homely-felt like I was staying at my parents house. The owner made delicious home made cordial and muffins which were to die for. Great location and I had a very relaxing time

“One of the worst stays we have experienced”
The owner of this property made it a very unpleasant stay and also very scary. Two woman stayed at the property and on two different occasion two different men came into the house while we were sitting there, at one point of of the men started using the kitchen while we were sitting there. We would leave a wine glass on the table and by the time we got back the glass was in the sink, the owner told us from the start not to go upstairs where it’s blocked off but they did not respect our privacy and continued to come into the house. It was so scary for us and we had no idea what to do.

The House is amazing, very comfortable, cleaning and the smell was fantastic. Super tidy and they thinking about every small things like the essential in the bathroom if you don’t have. Trudy and Salvatore are really kinder person .

Balcombe retreat was perfect! Great location, very clean, cosy bedroom. The place had everything we needed and the hosts have added a lot of extra little details - things you forget when you’re packing. Trudy and Sam are great hosts. My partner and I got engaged during our stay and they even arranged a special breakfast for us - amazing!

Absolutely perfect getaway 11/10 stars, we left feeling refreshed and relaxed. We slept like logs in the comfy queen bed (even afternoon naps) as it was so quiet too. Loved the luxury bath robes, slippers, soft push towels and bath salts. Stunning home, spacious with a gorgeous covered outdoor deck and the best well-equipped we've stayed at ever. 5-star hotel touches but at an amazing affordable price and with lovely warm hospitality from Trudy and Sam. Thank you for the welcome white wine and authentic Italian pasta ingredients to enjoy a meal. We'll be back again :)

The personal touches from Trudy really made my stay special, from the warm welcome to the thoughtful supplies. The property was spotless and well-maintained. I appreciated the homely atmosphere.
