Right across from Morioka station! Super easy access and a Lawson on the lobby floor. Breakfast was really diverse and high quality. Staff was really nice as well. We had an amazinf stay.

Lovely hotel, warmly greeted on arrival, as usual in Japan they are happy to store your luggage. Large room by normal standards, and was quite stylish. Great quality bed linen however bed was very firm - which seems to be a Japanese thing. Lawsons convenience store connected to hotel lobby. Overall would definitely recommend.

Very comfortable beds. Close to the station but very quiet. Good sized room with a view to the Shinkansen platform and the snow capped mountains beyond. Free refreshments in the lounge every afternoon/evening. Very friendly and helpful staff

The hotel was conveniently located just opposite Morioka Station. The front desk staff spoke good English and went the extra mile to help us with an issue we encountered with another booking. Highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently situated across the road from Morioka train station. I booked a twin share room which was generous in size by Japanese standards. As I was allocated a corner room on the 13th floor, I had panoramic views of Mt. Iwate on one side and Morioka train station with amazing alpine mountain views behind it! The hotel is clean with a generous and well functioning laundry. There’s a microwave situated in the laundry to heat up any convenience store food and speaking of convenience stores, the hotel is directly attached to a Lawson with keycard security access. The hotel is situated within walking distance of the castle ruins however there is a bus terminal at the front of Morioka station with buses that will take you almost anywhere. I’d definitely consider staying here again. Next time I may rent a car and explore more of the Iwate prefecture - Richmond Hotel have an allocated car park next door which could accommodate that too. I didn’t choose daily breakfast option, but there’s 24/7 all you can drink tea/coffee sitting facility on the 2nd floor.

The location is great if travelling by train, just across the road from the train station. It is only a short walk or bus ride to the main sights in Morioka. Comfortable rooms, good breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable modern hotel. Well-stocked konbini adjoining the hotel - access from the lobby. Opposite the station which is handy. Comprehensive breakfast in a comfortable restaurant.
