Morioka Stn is a direct walk, which I prefer, from the hotel (20 minutes? ). The hotel has lovely, colorful lobby where guests can find complementary coffee or tea.

The front desk staff were great and really engaged with me. The check in process was clear and we bought breakfast coupons got the buffet option. The rooms were a good size and had lots of the amenities you’d expect from a business hotel. There were extras (free) in the lobby - things like toothbrushes, hair combs etc…

“Practical and fulfilled all our needs”
Convenient location not far from the rock-splitting sakura, Morioka castle park, and within walking distance to most places we wanted to visit in Morioka. Parking available for additional 1100 yen/24hr, we had to leave our car keys at the reception as the parking space in front of the hotel is limited and the cars must be rearranged according to departure plan. Very accurately executed, kudos. We could also see Iwatesan from the window.

Central location. Lobby and lift looks a little run down and unpleasant but the room is surprisingly very clean, modern looking and spacious. Very friendly staff. There is small section at the lobby waiting area that sells local products and souvenirs. Breakfast is simple and is located underground.
