“Excellent stay in Morioka”

Great location in a local area with nearby bus stops. the rooms were spotlessly clean and hosts very accommodating as i could leave my luggage for a few hours at no extra fee after check out. really recommend if you are staying in Morioka

Decent price for the accommodation. Can house multiple people as there are three rooms. Landry machine free to use, kitchen and dining room shared space. Single bathroom, two toilets. One for men and another for men/women. Rooms have air-con.

Was so comfortable I felt right at home! All spaces were clean and you have pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is free laundry available, no dryer, but there was space in my room by the veranda to hang my laundry. Very affordable for a private room. Overall I would absolutely stay again.

The house belongs to a very nice lady who we quickly took to our hearts because of her warmth and patience. The dashi room was very nice and the kitchen was very practical. It was always clean. The location is great if you want to visit the Hachimangu Festival.

Free use of bicycles was great, old bikes but worked fine and there was a pump for the tires.

The location wasn't too bad, a bit out of the way but close enough to walk 30 to 40 minutes. Very close to the castle grounds, and we saw cherry blossoms! It's very clean and pretty comfortable, too. The stairs to the room are very narrow, so be careful!

“A relaxing escape”

Buchoho no yado was exactly what I needed during the busy New Year festivities. It was quiet, peaceful and I could enjoy the facilities at my own leisure. I was able to do laundry, cook meals, relax in the lounge or in my room. It was ideal. It was perfectly located for shrine visits as it was just down the street from Hachimangu Shrine. It is a short walk from the bus centre, about 10mins from the train station by bus. The room was Japanese style and very comfortable. Mattresses and futon are available so be sure to confirm which will be available in your room before your visit. 😊 Bicycles are available to use too. I did not use them during my stay but which was a nice offering! I would love to visit Morioka again and would definitely make a booking with Buchoho no Yado again. Thank you so much!

“Quiet and Clean accommodation in the center of Morioka”

Just 10 minutes to Sakurayama shrine. It's a bit far away from Morioka station but there are a lot of interesting places for sightseeing around there.

Simple accommodation with ample space for a single person. There are three bed rooms of different sizes and a large shared room. There's a convenience store about 5 min away.

“Very nice stay in cute ryokan!”

Very beautiful and clean little ryokan. There were no staff there but all the information about the property was really clear. The bathroom was really nice and there is a big communal space for eating and cooking. Beautiful shrine around the corner and plenty of corner shops. We enjoyed our stay!

“Quiet place close to the castle ruins”

There is a kitchen and meeting room, which is nice to sit and chat with other guests. It's close to the castle ruins and other nice spots in Morioka. The bus center is nearby, so you can take a bus from and to the station. There are 2 bicycles, which you can use if no other guests want to use them.

I was there mainly alone so it was like I had a whole house for me, otherwise the walls are super thin and you can hear every breath from the other room. I know it is a japanese style room but others I have stayed at were not that bad. The location is perfect, very good bakery like 2 min. Everything was clean, it is all self checkin self checkout so no possibility to leave your baggage after checkout.

The house was easy to get to, not far away from the station. The room was spacious and there was a big kitchen.
