“Amazing stay”

I’ve had a lovely stay in Painapaopao. The dorm is actually very private, there are walls in between beds. The place itself is very lovely and peaceful. I’d come here again

I really liked the place itself and the fact that the beds are separated by a wall, so you have more privacy

It was absolutely amazing – probably the best experience I had in Moorea! Great value for money. You sleep under a mosquito net, with proper walls around you for privacy, which makes it very comfortable. Everything is super clean, you have your own light and fan in the room The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they even give you great tips for travelling around Moorea.

It’s an absolutely fantastic place, the dorm is absolutely wonderful because every part of the dorms like your own little room, it has a very comfortable bed with a mosquito net, the bathrooms are spotless and clean in the kitchen is very comfortable, just fantastic- and on top the friendliest manager! Super nice

I can see why this Backpackers made it into Lonely Plant guide. Location was excellent, bed comfy with mozzie net, large room, locker, separate showers and toilets, clean, super size kitchen with all you need. Big verandah to either sit and chill or eat out there. Parking for vehicles too. Walk to closest public beach was 30 minutes and a lovely spot with showers etc or you could drive in 5 minutes heaps of parking

The place is lovely but a bit far from everything which forces you to either rent a vehicle or hitchhike which is rather easy but can still be dangerous especially for solo female travellers. Camille is a great host and cleans very well!

Great little hostel, where you get your own space so it feels like a private room, and very pleasant common area / kitchen. It's helpful to be able to use the kitchen and save some money. Easy to meet other solo travellers.

The most organised set up I have seen, each bed has their own space for fridge & dry food storage. Beds enclosed with walls and curtain for great privacy for a dorm & separate men’s/woman’s facilities.

Lots of privacy, all the amenities you could need including fans, mosquito nets, and a full kitchen.

Its a lovely accommodation on this beautyful island. Camille is amazing person, She did all best to help me when I lost my phone. Although they have budget friendly and "dorm" room, all bed has own private area like a little room in a big room with walls and curtains+ mosquito curtain As well.

“Perfect place for a solo traveler!”

The dormitory had walls between the beds and that made it seem like I had my own bedroom and, for me, having that privacy was great! Everything was really clean and welcoming. With 2 separate bathrooms for men and women, it was enough for everyone staying there. The kitchen and eating area was really nice, big and clean, with everything you need to store and cook your food.

“Remarkable!”

I totally loved it! The staff was really friendly. They also checked me in super early with no extra charge. Inside the dorm bungalow, there are partitions between beds, which give everyone a private small room. Really luxurious conditions for a hostel! The room comes with a mosquistiera, small fan and table lamp. The bathroom, kitchen, and common area are really clean and well equipped. I saw a lot of information, magazines about the island and the activities here (in the common area). You can rent snoring equipment, rent a towel, do a laundry, etc... 5-minute walk there is a small thai food truck (1000xpf for a meal). Gorgeous settings (full of greenery, in a garden).
