“A quick visit to a beautiful island.”

The hotel is a convenient spot close enough to walk from the ferry port. Kiki was helpful in securing a car for a discounted price from Hertz. It was close enough to the hotel to walk to pick up. The dogs were friendly but bark at you upon arrival. They do not seem to be harmful and are really sweet. The roosters start at 2:00 AM and that can disturb your sleep. It is a good spot for a quick visit to Moorea. It is not luxury but the price reflects that.

Accommodating host. Easy walk to shop. Free bicycle was not used but appreciated.

It was an incredible stay at Moorea Vaiare Lodge! 🌴✨ Everything was very clean, the room was big enough, with air conditioning and a private bathroom. It's literally 10 min walikg from the ferry! And Kiki is an excellent woman, she’s so kind and welcoming 😊 I 100% recommend it!

“Great value for money and fantastic location”

Walking distance from ferry and 2 supermarkets, pizza joint etc. Owner kiki met us at ferry. Lovely guy. He will help you in any way. You can rent scooters of him. We hired scooter and highly recommend it to see the island. Look, it is not the Sofitel. You get what you pay for. But you have your private bath and bedroom. Walls are very thin!! Property has 2 dogs, which we loved, and a cat. Highly recommend if you want value for money

Everything went smoothly, the owner was very kind, and the place was very clean. Moorea is a very natural island, with no traffic, very peaceful and quiet. The lodge has a private bathroom, which is very important, air conditioning, and a small outdoor kitchenette in the garden. It is more suitable for young couples, but we also felt excellent and very comfortable, even though we are older. Everything was perfect, we had a very good stay.

The woman who checked us into the room (who lived next door) was polite and helpful. The room was quite spacious, with a window, toilet and shower, and aircon and a fan. The location is brilliant, a short walk from the port of Vaiare, Mo’orea, where all ferries arrive and depart. The room was easily cooled down by aircon, in fact, I was able to cool the room down so well that I had to turn it off.

“Budget option close to the marina”

The deluxe- room was nice and comfy enough. The place is located close to the marina and they have some deals with car rental companies, altough we found a cheaper option elsewhere. There's also a good pizza place just next to this lodge.

“Moorea stop over”

Convient location close to the ferry. Kiki the host is delightful and helpful. Room was spotless and comfortable. Having the shared kitchen was great. Kiki even gave us a delicious papaya 😊 Located close to the general store and pizza restaurant. While the view is of the yard it didn't trouble me not to overlook a beach. The cat loved cuddles and being petted.

“Perfect for my needs.”

The location was a short taxi ride to the airport and a 5 minute walk to the ferries. The host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The bed, very comfortable. It is quite charming!

Fantastic location! Minutes from the ferry. We took a taxi but easily could have walked Kiki is amazing 👏 made sure everything was in order even though we didn't see it happen! We only got to officially meet Kiki in person on our last day. However, they were beyond helpful to aid us in dropping off our rental car then taking us to ferry. We learned that Kiki built this lodge during the quiet Covid times...great job, excellent concept! I loved the separate room and bathroom yet shared kitchen with other international guests! What a way to meet new friends! I will share this location with my Canadian 🇨🇦friends. Thank you Kiki!

The host family was friendly, gave me bananas and papaya from the garden. Room and environment were clean and tidy.

The location is very good and gives you a real Tahitian family feeling. Kiki and her family makes sure you are hosted super well, they also gave a lot of good recommendations about the island.

“A bit too rustic for us”

Small, basic rooms. Three in a row, brightly painted. There was no one there when we arrived but we rang and spoke to the owner using WhatsApp and caught up with her later for payment. We chose this as a place to stay because it is within walking distance of the ferry. It takes about 10 minutes from there and it’s about another 10 minutes to the local Champion supermarket. It was clean. There’s a basic outside communal kitchen. Nice garden with roaming chickens, dogs and cats. In fact, when I went to walk down the driveway, I was jumped up on by an overzealous young dog belonging to a neighbour, I think, who nipped me on the back of the leg as I walked away. The other animals were placid and friendly though. We were there on a very windy night and the building was creaking like crazy.

Great place to stay in Moorea, minutes from the ferry terminal. We enjoyed the roulettes and supermarkets nearby. The pizza restaurant next door was delicious!
