Built in 1620, the Can Barrina has been beautifully restored while retaining its rural charm in the stone walls, open fireplace and rustic decor. Excellent location in hills/mntns - other side has zero visible development- pure nature. But internet/wifi was almost non-functional. Family lives above the sleeping rooms - kids playing above until midnight, moving furniture around add sense of ‘charm’ that it’s not an industrial hotel.

“Restaurant totally overpriced”
The location is excellent, facing south in the middle of the Montseny forest. The house is cozy and well maintained and there is a good parking area nearby.

“Perfect retreat for a weekend”
We loved our room, it was beautifully refurbished, simple but very pretty with attention to detail. The pool was great, with the grass area around with enough space and sun loungers for all the guests to still have privacy. The views from the pool and the breakfast terrace were lovely, too.

Wonderful location with great views and very friendly staff! We got the last available room, so no views, but very clean with a spacious and comfortable bathroom. The smell in the entire place was very pleasant (no trace of moisture, which can often happen in old buildings such as these, but this property was perfectly renewed). The food was at times a bit overpriced, but definitely great quality. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much and look forward to coming back some day!
