It is cheap but it is also a good place for a one night stop. Staff is really helpful and the breakfast is basic but not bad.

“Very comfortable accommodation with spacious room and clean bathroom - good value for money”
This place exceeded our expectations. The reviews were not great but it was in our price range and ideally located for our plans. The check in was easy, the room was nice and spacious. The room said king and we really had a king bed (not a certainty for other hotels). We did not try the breakfast as there was a cute diner right next to it. I think this is perfect for a 1-2 night stay when on a roadtrip!

“low point of my trip, for the robust traveller, maybe”
Reservation was not honored, the owner (by his admission) sent me away despite a reservation (and rooms) at around 10pm after a botched check-in attempt - I had objected to him picking his teeth with the fingers of the very hand he was holding my card, which was perceived as an insult (tell me). There I stood in the middle of an unknown neighborhood in an unknown city late at night, but the Holiday Inn saved me, at a price. So possibly a location for the more robust traveller arriving earlier in the day, just in case, I can't, however, comment on the facilities as I never made it to a room - but the place itself was floodlit (red). The motel did nevertheless obtain my card details from booking, and even charged it (but has refunded the charged amount...).

The rates were great. The room had a nice warm shower. The microwave and refrigerator allowed us to eat dinner in our room. Other than what I mentioned below, we were okay with the room. The only staff member I met was very polite and courteous. The dining area looked clean and nice, although we didn't eat there.
