“Great Spacious Ski Chalet - Close to Ardent Ski Lift”

Really spacious chalet. All the rooms have enauites and there is a second living room upstairs. Also there was a washing machine and tumble dryer. We went in winter and there are regular free buses. It's really quick to ski from Ardent. A bus stops every hour about 5 mins walk away. The skiing from Ardent is brilliant as it is a short lift from Avoriaz. The apres ski bar and ski rentals are Ardent made it really easy.

Well equipped chalet with beautiful views down the valley to Montriond. A short walk (quite steep) through woodland alongside the river up to Lac Montriond which was great for swimming. There is a natural swimming pool as part of the lake which has lifeguards during day, fun mini-golf course and restaurants. Chalet has a big balcony for eating out and lots of indoor space for meals or chilling out with a good book. Multi-pass is good for summer to get access to lots of free stuff and discounts. L'abbeye St Jean d'Aulps is lovely. For more adventure (and a birds eye view of the Abbey) try the Tete d'Elephant via Ferrata - rent the kit you need in Montriond. We also did a fabulous but strenuous hike up Pointe de Nanteux from the chalet - glorious views from the top, lots of butterflies and wildflowers and soaring eagles (? Or honey buzzards?).
