Our room was clean and spacious and we enjoyed sitting in the chairs in the garden, the location is great near the centre of the town and with parking right outside, and the breakfast area and food was really good. Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

“Just an hour from Calais - this is Northern France's best kept secret”

This was our last stop before heading to Calais after three weeks away - and Chateau De Montreuil was the absolute cherry-on-the-cake to end our holiday. We absolutely loved it! The staff were fabulously helpful and friendly. The location was perfect - walking distance from the old-town fortifications, and also the busy town centre. Lots of cafes and bars locally, and car-parking wasn't a problem. The gardens were very well maintained, and the restaurant served good food and superb wine; (we allowed the waiter to choose for us - and he chose well!) The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed & pillows were just right. We were in the old one-story building just next to the main hotel (maybe because we had a dog with us), and we couldn't hear any other guests or any traffic. It was blissfully quiet. No idea how quiet the main hotel might be though. In the past, we've always favoured Le Touquet - but this is our new favourite place to go. Yes we'll be back!

What a lovely place. We stayed for 1 night, driving back to the UK. Location is fabulous, walking distance of bars and restaurants. The hotel is cute, has lovely gardens, the staff were so helpful and friendly, food was great too.

Lovely setting with very comfortable and clean rooms. Staff very pleasant. Just about an hour to drive to the Shittle so perfect for overnight stop.

Lovely building and grounds. We also got upgraded which was very kind. Bed comfortable and had best sleep of trip. Fair selection at breakfast. Much larger than we first thought both inside and out. Could have spent longer. Helpful staff and interesting history.

We were greated with such a warm welcome by Cindy I just knew that we had picked the perfect place for our third year together anniversary. kevin was also exceptional and showed us to our room straight away. The hotel is beautiful, set inlovely gardens and very well styled. Our room was spacious and had a double aspect which was really nice. The shower room was ok, plenty of room and a lovely warm shower. We had breakfast on our first morning - a bit expensive, but beautifully presented and a great choice of everything. We have been to Montruille 4 times now and this will be my preferred option for our return next year. Thank you so much, Catherine

The room was beautifully decorated, unlike the bland look you get in most hotels. The staff were personable, always helpful and professional. The hotel is in a good location with free on street parking and has a well maintained garden.
