Julie and Keith were welcoming and helpful. A good lodging near vélo Franchette with a 15 minute cycle ride to the town. The room was a good size, comfortable and had everything we needed. Our bikes were stored safely overnight.we also had a lovely breakfast

Spacious room, nice and comfortable with modern bathroom, good breakfast with home made jams and fresh bread and yogurts. Julie and Keith were very friendly and gave us details of local restaurants in the area. Free sheltered parking onsite. Easy location to find.

Friendly owners, comfortable rooms

We loved our room, and the house. Our hosts were attentive and lovely, we really liked them. We shared some stories at our arrival and they let us our space to get comfy in the room and during breakfast. Bathroom and bedroom had everything you can need (even some Easter chocolate bunnies). Breakfast was really great, plenty of food with all kind of options (including a delicious homemade banana bread).

Everything was great and the jams were home made to add that extra special touch at breakfast. Our hosts did a great job of making us welcome.

From the warm welcome through to the excellent breakfast this was all we could have wished for. The room was spacious and comfortable and the shower was powerful enough (seldom the case I’m afraid) I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this establishment

We had a great one-night stopover at The Vieux Logis. Keith and Julie were so welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was really good also. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here if you are passing through.

Le Vieux Logis sits in a tiny hamlet in beautiful countryside not far from the pretty little town of Montreuil-Bellay. Very warmly welcomed on our arrival and our hosts were delightful. The room was spacious and so pretty and had all we needed. Excellent restaurant recommendation. Very easy stop off for our trip south. Lots of private parking.
