Location was superb. Excellent host, facilities and room. Breakfast was amazing - save room for lots of food and homemade preserves. We were staying for a wedding in the vicinity and Herve also updated us on our local taxi/transportation to and from the venue that had been arranged by a third party. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

So peaceful with great views and lovely terrace and gardens. Big bedroom, well furnished, comfortable. Herve was so helpful and provided everything we asked for including a good choice of wines. Breakfast was superb.

“Magnificent 3 night stay”

What a gem! We certainly lucked out when choosing this beautiful accommodation. Everything was perfect. Such a lovely, warm welcome. The room was magnificent, so too was the view. The breakfast was the best we had ever had, so much choice and so much food. Host was superb.

Everything was great. Lovely host, rooms and facilities with very comfy beds. Breakfast was amazing with choice of cooked eggs, bacon and lots of home made fresh pastries, breads, and cake.

Everything was amazing, and the breakfast was the best I've ever experienced! The host was very friendly and super attentive to our needs. We would highly recommend this place and would come back again! :)

This is one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in during 25 years of staying in B&Bs in France. The owner was exceptional. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were the best ever we have eaten. In retrospect this is probably the best B&B we have stayed in, in France.

“An idyllic escape”

We loved our stay at Montis Maurelli. A secluded and quiet spot where we had the chance to unwind and relax. It was wonderful to stay somewhere so peaceful on a weekend escape from London! Herve the owner was so accommodating and helpful, he offered us tips for exploring the local area and has made such a gorgeous setting for a B&B. We had breakfast looking out on beautiful views of the village and surrounding countryside. He also made the most amazing breakfast, we were certainly never hungry! We had a lovely, calm, peaceful stay and would highly recommend it for a long weekend.

“The most tranquil and beautiful stay with a lovely host”

This was an excellent stay and far exceeded our expectations. The room was large and spotlessly clean, all the comforts you could ask for were there, toiletries, tea and coffee making, many chairs, cushions, nice linen, lamps. The windows had shutters so the room was lovely and cool. The bathroom was excellent, spotlessly clean and the shower was good. The view was lovely which we could see form the beautiful terrace or out our window. The breakfast was INCREDIBLE, we were treated like kings and queens and the breakfast had everything you could want, coffee, juice, eggs, cakes, cheese, crepe, waffle, bread, homemade jam... the list goes on! The host was lovely spoke amazing english and could not do enough for us. It was truely relaxing and it was an incredible 3 night stay. We would return.

it is a lovely property in a beautiful setting it is quiet and peaceful you look out over a valley onto the village below the views are extensive and made extra special that you can view from your bedroom window the shutters can be folded back the windows can be fully opened inward A beautifully laid out reception and someone meet you immediately the decor is perfect and in perfect condition the whole layout is so inviting you are taken up to your rooms the beds are comfortable the decoration is beautiful The bathrooms are superb modern showers with overhead flexible and body shower in a lovely cubicle and amply sized for the biggest of us It is a very modern bathroom all looking brand-new but set in the past the beds were comfortable and we slept well. We came down to breakfast the table was laid beautifully there was fruit salad on the table in front of you And on another beautiful laid out table that was all the continental selection the croissant’s were exceptional we would offer tea and coffee which was perfect.

it was very old, but beautifully restored. it was on the edge of the town, but with a beautiful view of the chateau on the hill. The room was large, as was the bed, and although decorated in an very nice older French style, the bathroom was done in a very modern way. There was everything that we needed in the room. The breakfast was exceptional, with a fresh fruit cocktail, yoghurt, baguette, croissants, brioche and home made jam. Bacon and eggs were on offer, with the eggs cooked whichever way you wanted, with tea or coffee to wash it down. The host was very attentive, and spoke in French or English. Nothing was too much trouble for him. we would recommend it to anyone, who wanted a nice peaceful, relaxing break.
