Comfortable bed. EV charger nearby. Lots of restaurants in Montluçon, which has a very attractive medieval centre. Found a friendly Lebanese/Syrian restaurant with menus suitable for vegetarians.

A friendly, well-run hotel, no excessive luxury but everything I needed was just there. Directly opposite the railway station and at a 10 minute walk from the castle and city centre, the location is perfect. Spacious room. The bed had sheets and a blanket, which I like more than the usual duvet as that's often too hot and a blanket is easier to kick off. The breakfast is a bit limited in choice but you do get half a baguette with jam or other sweet spread in addition to the usual croissant and pain au chocolat, so you can at least start the day with a full stomach. Friendly staff.

Very good continental breakfast with plenty of extras - yoghourt etc - to choose from. Pleasant tree-lined stroll to the historic town centre.

Friendly staff at reception, room is small & dated but adequate for one night. Didn’t use the carpark which is around the back but parked on the street for free from 6.30pm to 9am. Short walk to old town & a couple of restaurants & cafes either side of hotel.

Room was small but nice. The owning couple were very friendly. Breakfast was basic but very generous.

Friendly reception from the host. perfectly adequate rooms, typically French old hotel, sloping floors, comfortable beds,very dated but good fun for an overnight stop. Great bar immediately next door - essential after a long drive! Le Patron gave us great advice on where to eat in the evening.

Comfortable quiet room. While an older hotel, facilities were good and functional. Made use of the secure courtyard car parking and breakfast, staying one night. Arrived by car so being opposite to the railway station not relevant to us. Kind and hospitable couple running the hotel. Lovely short walk into character old town.

Good value for money. Free parking space for the motorcycle in a garage. Hotel is very clean and the staff friendly and helpfull.

Great location. Very clean. Great value breakfast. Easy 5min walk to central town. 100mtrs from train station. Safe, secure, compound parking for 4euros.
