This is a very spacious house with two bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen. We stayed for two nights and it was lovely, especially since Montichiello is such a charming little town. It may be small, but it has wonderful restaurants and truly feels like a gem of Val d’Orcia. The host was very kind and allowed us to use the washing and drying machines, which is such a helpful feature when traveling through Italy for many days. They were also flexible with a late checkout (for an additional cost), which really helped with our plans. I definitely recommend this place!

“A dream property in a stunning villiage”

This honestly was a beautiful property in a setting that felt surreal-like a film. Marco left the keys as I was driving and got stuck in traffic. As such I never met him but he checked in a few times and sorted a problem I had. The property was beautiful, kitchen was well equipped and the shower was great. There's a speaker (though no charger that I could find), wifi and adaptors to European plugs as the property uses old Italian plugs. Great planning by the host. Just some tips- Marco warned me that you'll be charged driving into the village. Put the Montichello car park as your destination on a satnav. If its full, follow the road to the left of the village and there's on-road parking. Also there are local restaurants but no grocery shops so grab some bits on your way. Theres a fridge! I'll be visiting again and bringing a family member who I know will love this.

“Rest and relaxation in Val d'Orcia”

The location is incredible. The town itself is very quaint and has some excellent restaurants and there are amazing views all around. I was there with a group of 4 and we took over both apartments, upstairs and downstairs, which was really fun, it felt like we could really move in. This is an incredibly quiet and sleepy town, so no concerns about noise at night. I would recommend this location for people who would like to visit Montepulciano / Siena and the surrounding area, but don't want to stay in a heavily touristic town, but also want to be in a spot where they can walk to dinner (Ristorante Daria was excellent, for example, and just down the road). For those who like it quiet and peaceful, this is a really great location for this area.

The bedrooms and both bathrooms were very spacious which is always a pleasure. Montichiello is a pretty medieval town without being as busy as other town in the area. The Wifi was very good, especially for Italian rural standards. The walk-in shower was fantastic - nice water pressure and hot. The apartment was warm when we arrived which was cosy.

Excellent location in historic center minutes walk from everything. Veyy comfy and roomy, great bathroom and we had a small terrace for apperitivo. Dined at La Porta nearby and had one of our best meals ever in Italy!

Beautifully renovated apartment, very comfortable and really well set up. Marco greeted us on arrival and very helpful about places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to staying again sometime soon.

Gorgeous, well-equipped villa in a lovely little village. Nice little balcony to sit and have a wine. Close to lots of other villages and places to explore in Tuscany. The edge of the village was a great spot to sit and watch the sunset.
