Agriturismo Le Macchie is a historic 17th-century building offering stunning views of the surrounding valley. It produces organic olive oil and wheat and has an outdoor swimming pool open in summer. Absolutely lovely stay, and Ramona is so friendly and always available. Stunning views, the pool was lovely, the surroundings as well. The house is amazing and has anything you might need. 100% recommended

“We were captivated by the beauty and warmth of this place, making every moment unforgettable.”
There was nothing to dislike about this place. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its beauty. Every photo we took, at any time of day, was breathtaking. Ramona and Andrea were incredibly accommodating and friendly, which was a refreshing change after experiencing less welcoming service in Sorrento. We loved every moment here, and it truly left a lasting impression on our hearts. Even though we were in a more secluded area, the nearby towns of Monticchiello and Montepulciano were still within easy reach – both absolutely stunning.

Our host was brilliant- she put us onto a great restaurant at the local town and also assured us if there was anything we needed she’d help us out. Ramona was lovely 😊

“EVERYTHING YOU DREAM ABOUT! OLD, STONE, COMFORT, STAGGERING VIEWS, CENTRAL LOCATION. GO!!”
Location is totally fabulous! Views of the valley are fab and near to towns like Montepulciano. VERY windy roads, though, if you are susceptible. First floor living area was warm, wood, comfortable with sofa, credenza, sitting room, large dinner table and small kitchen. Beds comfortable. Individual bathrooms essential.

“Authentic & peaceful Italian agriturismo”
Peaceful - there is only 3 apartments in the complex (house) so it feels as if you are on your own. You rarely see other guests in the property. Location - in a nature reserve, so very beautiful. Views are stunning from house. Well placed for day trips around Val de Orcia. Few minutes drive to all major towns in area. But rent a car! Facilities - everything you need to cook your own meal. Views are breathtaking. Washing machine was great. Coffee machine worked well. Comfortable matrass. Special mention to Ramona - our rental car broke down in the country road on our 2nd day. Ramona was SO helpfull and helped us get a local mechanic in the area to come fix the car as Europcar was so useless. Her husband even drove all the way to come check on us, and later Ramona came to fetch us with her own car. They were angels and never asked any questions, they just HELPED. We are so greatfull for their kind hearts and help in our hour of need.

“Wonderful stay with friends in the Tuscan hills”
A group of us stayed here as we were attending a wedding over the weekend and the accommodation couldn't have been better. It was perfect for our needs, our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. The staff were so helpful at check-in and gave us lots of info about the local area including taxi services and places to eat.

“Fabulous stay!”
It‘s the perfect place to get away from it all, rest, slow down & enjoy nature. And yet it‘s close to towns and therefore restaurants, shops and supermarkets. The apartment is spacious with beautiful tuscan interior, generous layout, well-equipped kitchen, wonderful and well-maintained garden and pool area with hammocks. The house is away from the street and buildings and provides a quiet and peaceful surrounding.
