“Very nice and pleasant stay”

We stayed with our two kids in the family room and enjoyed it a lot. Hakan is a fantastic host and this is a lovely place to stay. Very nice breakfast. Charger for our electric car conveniently available in the public parking place close by. We spent the day in Gorges du Verdon which is also highly recommended.

“A memorable stay”
Hakan was a great host - kind and thoughtful. He changed our room so we would not be too disturbed by the party for Bastille Day going on in the street outside. His breakfast was excellent too. The old Provencal house had much character, and the village was certainly off the beaten track!

“Great Stay for Exploring Verdon”
We had a comfortable stay while traveling around the Verdon area by car. The host was very kind—he arranged a fantastic restaurant for our dinner and gave us helpful tips for planning our tour. Breakfast was lovely, and the room was clean and well-kept.

“Cosy and hospitable!”
The small village was very pretty and the B&B was a lovely stay with very cosy rooms and a great breakfast. Håkan, the host, was very hospitable and friendly. We enjoyed a nice dinner at a cosy restaurant in the village. A much recommended stay!

A peaceful retreat steeped in history This place is incredibly quiet and filled with a sense of calm and history. The hotel is spotless and very well maintained. There are many paintings and antique items that create an amazing, almost timeless atmosphere. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. I highly recommend staying here — it’s a truly special experience.

I loved this old French house! It has been beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable beds, and good sized room. The ensuite bathroom was compact but adequate. The location was perfect to allow us walking access into town and we were able to park outside on arrival plus there is a large car park nearby. Breakfast was excellent and served in a delightful kitchen. There was a restaurant 50 m from the door but unfortunately it was fully booked so we had to drive to the next town. I would advise pre-booking if travelling out of season when many places are closed.

Loved everything about La Cachette du Comte. One of of favourite stays in Europe. Beautiful old house right in the middle of a medieval town. Very comfortable beds and cosy down doonas. Breakfast was superb. We were so impressed. A very special place to stay! Highly recommend.
