Juan and Sonia could not do any more for us!! Superb hosts, which we did not find everywhere we stayed. Our room was spacious, with a large balcony (perfect for someone like me who practices yoga every morning!). The bed was huge, very comfortable and AC great. All our fellow guests we spoke to agree with our comments!!

Juan and Sonia were wonderful hosts. The property is perfect: beautiful grounds, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Relaxing and quiet. The pool area is fab. Montezuma is a beautiful location.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel. It is simple and classy, in a peaceful and beautiful garden. The pool is large and I was able to have a proper swim & sunbathe - lovely. 😍 The owner is a good, friendly man, and we have stayed a few times now. Breakfast is delicious, and free! If you to wind down and just stop in serene surroundings, this is the place to be. 😁🦋🌺🌞💖

The hotel has great facilities. The swimming pool is an excellent size and a good selection of sun loungers to chill out. The rooms are well appointed and I made good use of the hammock on our balcony. Listening to the wildlife and watching the sunset. The location was good for us, it is set on the main road just above the town of Montezuma. We had a car and were in town in 5 minutes. We also loved Santa Teresa beach which was only a 20 minute drive away. If you are touring the area this hotel is a great find.

Nice, clean, pleasant stay! Kingsize bedroom was amazing and the breakfast too! The pool was great due to the salty water, also saw some monkeys around. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect location. Great view on the garden. Juan and Sonia are special hosts which I have never seen in any other hotel. Thanks to Sonia's advice my red skin was healed quickly :). Thanks for a very very good service. No 4x4 car required to get to the hotel as other reviews stated.

We had a great stay in the hotel! The hotel is well located not far from the city center. The pool and the hotel is cute. The breakfast was really good (amazing pancakes!) and Juan gave us precious advices for our trip!

“A zen hotel with incredible pool”

The hotel was fantastic! It was a serene, calm oasis with a laid-back feel to it. The rooms are basic but comfy with the addition of a lovely balcony with hammock. The pool is AMAZING - it was super hot whilst we were there so we spent most of our days at the hotel then when down to Montezuma in the late afternoon. Breakfast was really yummy and served on the open terrace everyday.

I liked the style of the building (paired back colonial), the swimming pool which was a nice size and salt water with a great outdoor shower, the grounds, the balcony with hammock. It was a nice little hotel, perfect for a romantic stay.

Hotel Horizontes de Montezuma was booked based on reviews, proximity to our previous location and short term availability. The hotel itself has potential since it is a nice two floor white building with a glass window in the roof.
