Hotel Aurora offers great lounge area and wooden deck with seating area, hammocks, and cable TV surrounded by lush gardens and the nature allure of Montezuma enchantments. It is located 2 minutes' walk from "La Cascada", the Montezuma River Waterfall. The rooms and suites offer a private bathroom and a fan. The suites also feature air conditioning, mini fridge and a private furnished balcony with hammocks. Guests at Hotel Aurora can use the common kitchen and they can find a variety of restaurants within 100 metres. Activities such as Isla de Tortuga Island tours can be arranged and it takes 40 minutes’ boat trip to reach the area. This hotel is 30 minutes’ drive from Cabo Blanco National Park and from Santa Teresa Beach. Juan Santamaría International Airport is a 3-hour drive away.

“Absolutely fine for a good price!”
We really liked the few days in the Aurora Hotel, it is not luxurious, but absolutely perfect if you dont want to spend a fortune. We like it easy and for that the hotel is perfect! The rooms are tidy and the kitchen is fine for cooking and preparing own meals. Especially the location is amazing, you need just 5 minutes to the beach!

“Cute family-run, spacious and clean find with a great balcony”
Spacious room with a lovely balcony view over the park next door. The staff were extremely attentive in making our stay as comfortable as possible. Clean and well kept, the air con, in-room fridge and coffee machine were great. The kitchen was (intentionally) basic - fine for compiling breakfast and lunch - but not suffice for making a cooked meal.

The location is excellent. Close to everything. It's great value for money with a coffee machine and fridge in your room. Shared spaces to eat and relax and a communal kitchen to use. Support local families and choose Aurora.

“The Hotel Aurora is unique and well worth a visit.”
The hotel is perfectly placed. Close enough to all amenities and yet not in ‘the thick of it’. Our room was clean and comfortable with a terrace overlooking a public park. The rooms could do with some updating but it certainly didn’t detract from our stay. There is an on-site kitchen for the use of guests which is a bonus. It was value for money and Montezuma is well worth a visit.

“Cosy place but make sure to pay in USD!”
Cosy place with lots of places to chill out, and very large room with cool wooden boards. Good working aircon and coffee maker was a nice touch. Bang in the middle of town (but thats easy in Montezuma).

“Remarquable”
My stay in this hotel was awesome. Close to the beach and restaurants it’s the best match in Montezuma. Affordable, with a staff who deserves 5 stars thanks to open mind and professionalism. The only noise could be the outside music, otherwise the fan (room without AC), it just helps to sleep after an exhausting day at the beach. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 😊

“Wish you could of stayed longer, 2 nights was not enough”
Location was what we were hoping for. Very close to the 2 beaches alot of great restaurants and the night life -to be able to walk and enjoy but then be able to get away and sleep in your bed(somewhat quite).

Hotel Aurora is the best place you can chose to stay while in Montezuma, the spacious room, the AC, and the fan, the amazing relax space, i.e. your own balcony - with a hammock and a wonderful view, the great option to use a kitchen facility, so you can prepare your own meal, this was simply an a m a z i n g stay! The whole atmosphere, the team super kind and helpful to answer every question or request with a huge warm smile! Thank you so much Hotel Aurora, for keeping this beautiful welcoming atmosphere! Me and my friends enjoyed very much the shared chill hammock area and met new friends while relaxing there I also really liked your library corner! The 30 seconds walk to the beach and the incredible sunrise, whoaaah! Montezuma, we are coming back to you and our favorite hotel Aurora! Thank you!

“A good option for Montezuma”
The room was big with comfortable beds. It had AC and two fans for us to choose. There was a small balcon with a hammock and a table with view to the park. It also had a small fridge so it is possible to keep a few groceries in there just for us. The owners of the hotel gave us a huge hand managing our reservation. They confirmed our positive and unique experience with Costa Rica's warmth and helpful people. Thanks!
