“Hidden gem in Monteverde”

What a lovely boutique hotel. All 5 stars very well deserved. Rooms, service, views all outstanding! All still looks brand new although the Ocotea is already open since 5 years. Excellent choice for Monteverde.

Very nicely designed hotel, great size room, extremely comfortable beds, great bathroom and shower, everything very clean. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and easy to arrange tours with them. They also helped us with a private transfer to Manuel Antonio with a very comfortable van and great driver.

“A true mountain retreat.”

This place feels like a wellness retreat. It’s perfection. The location, the views from the rooftop bar and the service were exceptional. The personal service at breakfast and the food was out of this world. Our room was like a sanctuary. We loved it.

“Modern and with all the expected comforts”

Very good location, especially if you want to try the fine dining at San Lucas Treetop (it is the adjoining property). The hotel is very modern (built 4 years ago), very nice decorated with all the comforts. It has a nice rooftop to admire the sunset and even a small gym. We also enjoyed the complimentary minibar.

Fantastic food in the restaurant. We had breakfast, lunch, happy hour, and dinner in the hotel and all were superior.

Staff are very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The decor was great and quality of good equally brilliant.

Very nice, fresh and clean hotel. Good location: close to shops and restaurants. Staff is cool. Room size is descent but ok for layover as during the day you are on tours. Amenities in the room good. Towels and pillow cases changed every day. Beds comfortable. Restaurant is like Michelin star: fresh and tasty. Rooftop bar with sunset view is amazing and barman is cool! Parking next to the door. Wifi excellent.

Exceptional Service from the staff and really great food. Best Hotel Service we have experienced in many years of traveling. View from the roofbar was great, rooms were very clean and modern. Overall we wished we stayed a bit longer.

The staff at the place is very kind and warm, they helped us book activities and restaurants in Monteverde, I would like to especially mention Roxana, Marisol and Valeria, the best. The location of the hotel is great, few minutes from all the restaurants and bars. The rooms are very nice and clean, the breakfast is beyond great. We couldn’t ask for a better place to stay at Monteverde!
