This hotel is absolutely amazing! The staff were gorgeous and so friendly, Christina in particular was lovely. They have a beautiful hotel dog Bobby who is so gorgeous and friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean and spacious. The breakfast was delicious too. Highly recommend staying here

“Perfect jungle get away”
It was perfect! The bungalow is HUGE, the beds are SO comfortable, the breakfast is absolutely delicious and the staff is so friendly and helpful also with booking transports and tours for you. The town centre is within walking distance (10min) and there are restaurants and a small convenience store very close too. We absolutely loved it here (and we loved the dogs)!

“A Great Place to stay in Monteverde”
Nice wooden chalet room. Clean and spacious with a kitchenette. Staff were kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good. A 5 min walk to the centre of town. It was quite windy when we went, so do bring warm clothes for the evening.

Our room was very spacious and clean, with a small kitchenette, where we could prepare snacks and lunches. The staff were really friendly and gave us some really helpful recommendations including the local Christmas lights parade, which was a real highlight of our trip.

“Hearty, refreshing mountain stay.”
Monteverde is a special place, and the Villa Lodge is equally special. The staff make you feel right at home and part of the family. The rooms are very private and spacious, which gives welcome relief after many tighter accommodations. Their assistance with organising tours and transport was very efficient.

Last-minute booking due to abrupt change in travel plans, but Crisitina was more than welcoming and accommodating with helping and advising us what to do/where to go whilst staying in Monte Verde. The rooms were spacious, and there was a good selection of breakfast options to choose from in the morning. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

“The staff were exceptional!”
The staff were amazing! It is a family run place and everyone was so friendly and lovely (and very patience with us as we tried to practice our Spanish!) The room was lovely, spacious and clean and the breakfast was delicious. I cannot recommend this place more! Their dog was super cute aswell.

“Comfortable stay in Monteverde”
The owner and staff were lovely and very helpful and breakfast was delicious. The little covered area was great to sit out on. The room was big and spacious and the little kitchen area was great. It would have been good to have a sofa in the room.

“Cosy stay in Monteverde”
Joe who greeted us at reception on our first night was friendly and informative and really helped us decide what to do in Monteverde. We were really grateful for his recommendations which were excellent. Breakfast was delicious and the laundry service as efficient and reasonably priced.

The family cabin was very large , set in a small complex only a 10 min walk to town. There’s a good restaurant right at the end of the road if it’s raining. The beds were clean and comfy and the breakfast was good.

Great location, just a short walk into the town. Good parking if you have a car and easy to find. The lodge was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining room was very pleasant.

Spacious room, good shower and friendly staff. No need for airconditioning because it was cooler and you could open all the windows (with screens). Between the cabaña and the wall there was a small roofed outdoor space were you could dry yor clothes and shoes. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Santa Elena.
