Not fancy, but pretty good value for money (especially considering how expensive Monteverde is). The host was very helpful and there is lots of info available on tours to book etc. The best part was having hot water in the shower! Supermarket is 1 minute away

Bed linnen and dorm was cleaned everyday. Friendly owner and desk. Close to the center with food places and supermarkets. Towels are available for 2$. Breakfast is included: eggs, toast, cornflakes and bananas are available to make your own breakfast.

“Cheap stay”
The hostel is cheap. I booked the triple room and had the whole room for myself, and the price is very reasonable. Walking distance to supermarket, restaurants and shops.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff, well equipped kitchen, the abundant bird life in the trees outside the kitchen window, and spacious relaxing area. Close proximity to shops and eateries. Staff can book tours and shuttles for you.

“Great cheap hostel”
Really nice property, there was only 2 of us in a 6 bed dorm room, so was lovely and quiet. Great secure parking facilities and lovely owner. Would definitely recommend.
