This accommodation was an absolute gem. We had a beautiful, centrally located room. It was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, and we had plenty of space as well as a small fridge. There was no air conditioning — but you really don’t need it, as it cools down nicely at night. The hotel’s restaurant was truly fantastic, and the staff were just as wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at Mar Inn! The room is very comfortable, staff super helpful and friendly, great breakfast, the most amazing hot shower for after hiking. Great products in the bathroom.

Fantastic view from room balcony, which had chairs and table. Room very spacious and clean, lovely shower. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Booked activities through reception. Breakfast great 4 choices. Bar lounge has lovely views.

Breakfast was great, location with a lovely view of the greenery and clean bedding! Talking to Tom was a very pleasant experience. Walking distance to city center but on an uphill. Reasonable pricing.

Very cozy and comfortable room, extremely friendly staff, delicious breakfast and the shower was amazing! Located close to the cloud forest by car.

Everything was perfect. I was very positively suprized given some negative opinions on booking - rooms extremely clean and refreshed (walls clean, new utensils), bathroom was also very nice. The vibe was like in a hidden wooden chalet, calm and relaxing. Beds extra comfortable, air con new and perfectly working. Staff very helpful. Good internet. Spacious rooms despite two beds (we needed only one). I highly recommend!

Loved this hotel, very good value for money, lovely staff, great location (5 mins walk from town) and the breakfast was very good!

The receptionists are very helpful, also booking tours without additional charge. The location is quite central. The rooms are very clean. The beds are good as well. A/C kept the room dry and at a nice temperature. It can get chilly at night in monteverde.
