Location was good at a reasonable price. Breakfast was good as well

Lovely base camp for exploring Monteverde. All the staff go out of their way to be helpful. The beds are comfy, the breakfast tasty and the evening meal we ate in the restaurant was first class.

Good location, clean, nice personnel.

We only stayed 1 night, but it was a great experience. Staff of the hotel were extremely tentative and helped us with any queries we had. Food is also really good, both for dinner and breakfast (that was included in price).It is super noisy when it’s windy so if you’re a light sleeper, bring earplugs! Our stay was overall great.

The room had no closets or anything for hanging clothes and towels. The bathroom also had nothing to hang towels or clothes.

Super cool place, I really like the layout and the upstairs balcony. The views are spectacular, the staff are amazing, the food was very good, and the dogs are quite special.

Staff were super helpful. Good location with private parking space. Bed was very comfy too. There's an amazing view from the breakfast area.

The breakfast was awesome and delicious! The swing in front of the window was nice :-) and different! The staff was very nice. We were able to leave our rented car there while we went do a tour. I would recommend this Don Taco Hotel without any hesitation!

Excellent value for money! The room was large and clean. The fridge was very useful. Helpful staff. We enjoyed happy hour cocktails at the bar on a couple of nights. Walking distance to the center of town.

Small hotel slightly out of the centre of Santa Elena. Friendly staff who helped us to book a tour and transfer. Nice view from the balcony.

“Amazing stay & brilliant views”

It was located a little away from the town so it was super quiet. We got upgraded from a standard room to a cabin with a small sitting area with amazing views. It was comfortable and despite rainy season stopping most afternoon activity we enjoyed watching the thunderstorms from here. The breakfast was amazing as were the staff who helped us to book tours, transport and any other general advice.

The only avantage was the proximity to the city center

Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I forgot my e-reader when we checked out and had left for another town. The staff contacted me and were able to have a third party bring my e-reader to the town I was in for a small fee! Kids loved the hotel dogs :)
