It was easy to come and leave from the accommodation. It was close enough to everything. The staff were helpful.

Staff was helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was ok. Also downstrais restaurant helped us and were kind. Shower had warm water. Beds were pretty good and clean.

The owner was great and informative about what to do in the area. Breakfast was lovely. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room was nice and clean.

We loved everything about the bellbird hotel. Alex was very kind and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was delicious too. The view from the hotel it’s fantastic and people come to stand every evening to look at the sunset and the Pacific Inlet.

Alex is a very charismatic, hospitable, friendly host. If you want to explore the area, he will help you without hesitation (even making bookings for you). We enjoyed our stay in Bell Bird and would recommend it to anyone looking to get the most out of their time in Monteverde.

The owner Alexis was fantastic. He picked us up from the bus station, booked our tours and when we had to catch the bus at 04:00 he gave us a takeaway breakfast pack.

There was a warm welcome from the owner. He also explained what was there to see and do in the area. He also offered help with booking the tours. The location is great, and everything is within easy reach, both Park Monteverde as well as the town of Santa Elena. And right in front of the hotel is a beautiful view of the Golfito with beautiful sunsets.

Excellent stay! Very quiet, low-key, and relaxing. The breakfasts were simple, tasty, and satisfying. The staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. The location is fantastic, perfectly between Santa Elena and Monteverde!

Wow! This was such a cute and comfortable place. I wish we could have stayed longer. The man who greeted us and was so kind. The included breakfast was great- there were 3 different options. Everything was very clean, the room was warm, and the bed was good. It felt like being at home.
