The view out the wall of windows was stunning. Loved eating outside at the table. Hosts were so helpful with suggestions as well as helping us make restaurant and activity bookings. Highly recommend!

Absolutely beautiful property. An amazing and responsive host with excellent recommendations. Cozy and private cabin that was clean and comfortable and set in amongst the trees.

The location and the view, it was very calm. Jose was kind and gave us useful information about the region. We had the opportunity to feed baby cows.

“Beautiful place on a farm in a forest.”

I really liked how the unit faced a beautiful forest and the fact that it was a carbon neutral farm. However, I think I should remind people that this unit is on a farm in the middle of the rainforest so there will be occasional insects and if you happen to leave food out you could see a bunch of ants. We loved the place, but if you are expecting a holiday inn, go elsewhere.

“Nature, tranquility, beauty”

José’s family have clearly put so much love into their farm and equally into the accommodation they provide alongside it. The location is out of monteverde and suits having a car. But, we didn’t have one and got on fine with taxis. We loved the peace and seclusion on the property. There are footpaths around the farm with beautiful views, and we were lucky enough to see keel-billed toucans. Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Finca Terra Viva

“Haunted house - The worst experience we ever had!”

The worst night we ever had!!!! We didn't really liked anything - We left after one night although we had booked 2 nights - We prefered to lose our money than to stay one more night in this place

Close to the nature, confortable king size beds, nice view from cottage enable observation of nature, birds, animals. Wooden furniture. Kitchen well equipped. Living room with enough space to sit and relax. Just what you need to relax in the green 🙂 Personnel is very friendly and very helpful ⭐⭐⭐ Feeding cows is a great experience for adults and children.

We loved the location and the communal space. Jose the property manager was so helpful, going the extra mile to help book taxis and guides etc. it’s a really peaceful spot… powerful showers and a brilliant breakfast provided (eggs, toast, juice and fresh milk). Honestly, such a great booking.com space!

“Great farm stay in the cloud forest!”

Jose was extremely helpful and responsive, helping us book our activities. We appreciated that breakfast foods were provided and we still talk about the homemade butter, it was so good! The kids loved being able to feed the calves. The shower water was hot and the tap water was drinkable.

“Utterly charming cabin just outside Santa Elena”

We LOVED our casita at Terra Viva. It was really special. We awoke each morning to a view of trees dripping in ferns and epiphytes and to the sounds of birds. The facilities were great, with all we needed to make our own breakfasts provided by Jose - this included milk from the farm, tea, coffee, bread, eggs, fresh fruit, jam and butter. It was so lovely to eat at leisure with the lovely views. The beds were comfy and the cabin was really spacious. Jose, our host, went above and beyond, helping us book activities and taxis. He is so friendly and lovely and it seems like nothing is too much trouble. Although there's lots to do in Santa Elena, we ended up spending lots of time at the casita as it was such a wonderful place to hang out.
