Located in Monteverde, Costa Rica, offering rooms with balconies and views of Monteverde Cloud Forest, El Establo Mountain Hotel has a beautiful setting within attractive grounds. This family-run hotel features 2 restaurants, a spa and an outdoor swimming pool. El Establo’s rooms have attractive décor and carpeted floors. Each room comes with a flat-screen TV and laptop safe box. Guests can enjoy à la carte Costa Rican cuisine in Las Riendas Restaurant. Laggus offers gourmet options and overlooks the Establo’s lake and gardens. The Green Leaf Spa has a range of treatments including wraps, facials, manicures and exfoliation. There is also a hot tub and salt-water bath. The Establo Mountain Hotel can arrange day and evening walks around 5 km of walking roads in the neighbouring Monteverde Cloud Forest. There are also a tennis court within the hotel grounds, and Monteverde provides an ideal setting for hiking.

“Resort with Natural Cloud Forest on the property with naturalist services available on the property”
We were located at Building 3 and it was very convenient for easy access to dinning for breakfast and reception area. However, located at one higher elevation building with same accommodations would have been with a nicer view of the mountains and ocean. Shuttle services were excellent and prompt.

“Worth the trip. Lovely place”
The hotel is in a beautiful location, one of a kind. Worth the trip. You are surrounded by the nature, beautiful swimming pool. You can do activities directly in the hotel such the zip line. Whilst there are better zip lines around we enjoyed doing it with just the three of us instead of large groups like the others.

The hotel is located at the most amazing spot in Monteverde. You can go hiking a long trail right from the hotel and enjoy really beautiful sunsets at lookout or from the windows of your room. Really enjoyed my stay there.
