The hotel is owned and run by Milady and she could not be more kind and helpful. She made our stay more enjoyable, helped book tours at the right price, translated and arranged for a tyre puncture repair to be done while we were out and made a wonderful breakfast. Her daughter Sofia played with our kids, wildlife came to see us during breakfast and the whole family was delighted we booked here!

The staff are friendly. The location is good, but a car is advantageous. The breakfast has some choices available plus fruit and coffee, all good; one morning we were able to watch a cute agouti from our breakfast spot too.

The staff at Dreams lodge are great, super kind, this is a tight run business by the owner (Milady). I found everyone very responsive to any requests or concerns. The breakfast pancakes were excellent too. Breakfast in general was good. You can see animals in the morning where the staff put out some food.too. unfortunately we didn't catch the monkeys but apparently these are common in the grounds.

“Pura Vida à la Costa Rica”

The location was perfect ! A little past the center of Monteverde but cosy. Owned by a Costa Rican and managed by a wonderful lady named Milady. Breakfast was included and was good.

Milady and her family are very friendly, helpful and polite. They will accommodate you and cater for you as you wish. If you are in Monteverde and you are looking for budget stay this is the place to go. Thank you Milady for hospitality. Yll and Jehona

Good place to stay for 1 or 2 nights. Friendly staff, good breakfast, and nice and quiet spot just outside the centre.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Helped us out on drying our shoes after a rainy hike, and was very helpful in organizing a combined zipline and coffee/cacao plantation tour. Rooms we moderate but clean and relatively cheap.

A lovely friendly family run business. Fabulous freshly cooked breakfast every morning, with the pancakes a firm favourite. Clean and comfortable. Tony, the owner, could not have been more helpful. You do not need to book excursions before you arrive as Tony will help organise everything for you. We had some fantastic guides and experiences. Cannot recommend this place highly enough. Very close proximity to restaurants and a supermarket, although a slight walk uphill.

Very friendly staff that can help with lots of activity and advice for the area. Good breakfast served in the morning (1 different option every day, but the owner can help with adjustments if needed). Great WiFi connection, the best one so far in our trip.

The room was beautiful, with flower petals on towels and tissues. Our room was cleaned daily, which was nice after a long day. The included breakfast was very good.

Great sleep in a very comfortable bed! Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. Good local knowledge from long term employees.

I can only speak about Room 8. The owners were trying to create a luxurious room, but they failed on many basics: no chair of any kind, poor air circulation, no desk or table, interference between curtains around the glass door and needs for privacy, etc.

In nature, clean and there was a pet quati. Breakfast was very good

Visited as a family in Mid August. We felt very safe and very comfortable. The staff was amazing and had some wonderful recommendations for activities. The location is nice with some good possibilities for family hikes in walking distance. Everything met our expectations and for us, the Dreams Lodge was a perfect accommodation to explore Monteverde. We even had some lovely wildlife encounters right in front of our balcony.
