Comfortable and well appointed apartment in beautifully maintained grounds, with secure parking and in a good location to get to Monteverde cloud forest reserve. Miguel on reception was incredibly friendly and helpful. He gave us lots of recommendations and was really responsive and flexible to all of our questions, nothing was too much trouble! Bit of a walk into Santa Elena (20 mins) but there are plenty of good restaurant nearer by, and highly recommended as a base for exploring Monteverde cloud forest.

Lovely well-appointed apartment in beautiful surroundings, looking out onto a well cared-for garden. We had to check in at the reception desk at the Spanish Immersion Language School, but that was not a problem for us. In fact it was very interesting to learn a little about the courses the Language School runs there, allowing people from all over the world to improve their Spanish Language skills. We enjoyed having self-catering facilities, and we were particularly glad to have the very convenient laundry room facilities near our spacious apartment. From our first contact with Miguel at reception, the lovely friendly cleaning ladies (who only spoke Spanish, forcing us to improve our own language skills), to the friendly gardener there, we had great service with more than a few smiles.

Clean rooms, quiet place Wifi is quite bad, parking is too small (for 2 cars), the check-in experience is not pleasant, you need to go to CPI for payment. I think will be better to pay before you arrive to avoid waste of time and chats.

We were very satisfied with this accommodation: it was great to have a whole apartment for us, with the possibility to cook (eating in restaurants in Costa Rica quickly leads to financial ruin!), and to do our own laundry instead of having to pay for crazy expensive laundry services. The bathroom was the comfiest of our entire stay in Costa Rica, and the garden was pretty. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they made up the apartment flawlessly every day. In terms of location, we were a little further from the beating heart of the area with all the bars, but we were at walking distance from one of the trails and just opposite a popular sunset watching spot.

Beautiful property. Large apartment with lovely balcony and aircon everywhere. Owners/staff extremely welcoming and helpful. Lovely views, gorgeous gardens and peaceful location. When leaving, our pick-up was at a hotel about 5 mins walk away and the owner kindly transported our luggage there and refused to charge us. Thanks so much for a lovely stay.

There was a fabulous view of the sunset from the balcony. The apartment was spacious and very well cleaned and serviced. We appreciated the coffee machine and coffee that was provided. There is a delightful garden which sadly we were unable to use much during our visit because it rained a lot but on a sunny day it would be a good place to sit.

Friendly staff, beautiful view across the hills and for sunset, a great spot for bird watching and a lovely safe and private spot that’s close to Santa elena centre. Dehumidifier and fans in the room really helped keep the property comfortable and great to have clothes washing and drying facilities. So up of highly recommend.
