“Pura vida!”
Jose and his mum are wonderful people. They run this family business with lot of dedication. It is very silent and beautiful, nestled in the countryside. After visiting Costa Rica I can say this is really good value for money.

We personally liked location because it was close enough to the road but in green surroundings and very silent. We could walk to the Wild Life Refuge in no time. The property was very new or renovated, with a nice taste; it has very family atmosphere. Juan Pablo was very helpful briefing us on the activities around and answering to all of our questions. Because of him we got the best night walk ;)

Absolutely fantastic property very close proximity to Santa Elena and all the reserves. José gave us excellent recommendations and booked us experiences that allowed us to see the area in an authentic and meaningful way. “Lovely quiet stay.”
Casa Rayo de Luna is a few minutes from the town which means it’s really peaceful and quiet. The room was very comfortable and guests are able to access a little room which has tea and coffee making facilities and a large fridge to store things if you wish. We preferred this as fridges can be noisy in the room that you sleep in. Jose was really friendly, knowledgable and helpful with information about the area. There are lots of birds which frequent the gorgeous garden at the property.

The location is superb away from the noise and bustle of tourism. I love the kindness and thoughtfulness of the hosts they made my stay very comfortable and pleasant. The breakfast was always vety tasty!! I will always recommend and what a homely place to stay.

“Lovely gem”
Everything was perfect. This place is a lovely gem. Jose Pablo gave great recommendations and was super friendly, He made our stay comfortable and without issues. Good breakfast. Wifi was fast and stable. the area was very nice with lots of space for viewing birds and wildlife. There was also a nice trail by the property which made for a charming walk. Very highly recommended and would go back again.
