“Hidden Monteverde Gem - Great for Families!”
This home is a quiet sanctuary only a 10-minute drive from Santa Elena. My family of four loved being hidden among the trees. The home was very comfortable, and the kitchen was sufficient to cook meals. We loved the fireplace and the large patio to soak up the mountain air. Carlos was a wonderful host. He was very responsive, flexible, accommodating, and friendly. Thank you!

This place has seen better days. It was cold, very humid and moldy. The place is not maintained.

The house perfectly fits for family of 4 or 5.. Its located outside of Monteverde so the car is strongly recommended. . The beds are comfortable, the heating is available for colder days. The kitchen is well eqipped.

The cabin was extremely clean and cozy. We had coffee and tea on the porch each morning, and the living space was so nice! We even took a morning walk on the property manager's finca! Can't wait to tell our friends about this spot.

“Much to enjoy, farmhouse feel with amenities! not far from Santa Elena or Monte/e. Much to explore”
Great camping cottage feel to the place but with upgraded appliances. lots of room with 2 bedrooms and 4 beds. The kitchen is quite huge and has everything you need. Gretel who met us and gave us instructions was a delight. She wanted us to come visit her orchid garden and it was revelationary! lots of micro species and so many names she could remember. we were very tired by the time we got there, we mostly just recovered. There were some beautiful pieces of wood used for the outdoor seating area handrails and many special touches thruout.

We loved the house a lot! The weather was terrible and it felt nice and cozy to stay inside and enjoy the rain through the huge windows. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed and we really enjoyed to use it. Communication with owner was very good and we felt that they care about their property a lot. I would suggest to arrive to the house during the daylight time because the roads in the area are not easy. But it’s part of the experience:)
