Beautiful lodgings and amazing staff. It’s a peaceful oasis in the middle of town- very central location. The breakfast was incredible and so much wildlife around.

The grounds were an absolute delight to walk through every day and the whole place had a homely feel. Our room (Standard) was very comfortable with space and good facilities. We were made very welcome when we arrived, even being made a cup of English style tea! Breakfast was the best we had during our entire trip and catered for all tastes. Appropriately, we also saw a rainbow (Arco Iris) every day!

Nice lodges, feels rural and quiet but 2 mins from town. Staff lovely kind and helpful. 3 lovely dogs and a special cat !

The staff at the hotel are absolutely lovely. They were very helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. They helped organise some transport to a local reserve and also allowed us to check in earlier than expected. Breakfast was good, hearty and varied. The grounds were pleasant with lots of pets and the occasional bit of wildlife. Rooms were clean and comfortable - ours had a nice outdoor seating area overlooking the forest which we liked. Good shower too! We really enjoyed our stay - shame it was only two nights!

“Best place in monteverde”

Everything! The hotel was right in the centre of the little town but it was a bit hidden and had a very calm atmosphere. The bungalow was detached from the others and had a lot of privacy, even with curtains open. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were extremely helpful.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodge. Very nice resort. Given the sometimes cold wheather here we highly enjoyed the very hot shower. Located right in the middle of Santa Elena you have very short walks to restaurants and bars. Nevertheless it is very quiet during the night. Would also highly recommend the night tour into the forest. Can be booked via the reception.

“Lovely peaceful lodge set in beautiful garden”

Lovely lodge set in a stunning peaceful garden full of beautiful plants and flowers, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a little seating area so felt like a good space. Lovely seating area outside the lodge (enough for the 4 of us) so we could sit and enjoy the tranquillity. Hammocks dotted around the garden which our girls loved. Great buffet breakfast served in a nice airy room with great views. 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants in the main part of Santa Elena which is a lovely little town. We ate at the Open Kitchen restaurant which we'd definitely recommend. Visited Santa Elena Cloud Forest (lovely and peaceful although no cloud as it was the most beautiful day!), the zipline tour at Selvatura which was lots of fun plus we saw a quetzal whilst waiting for the last line! We also stopped at a beautiful waterfall, a short drive outside the town (it'll be shown on the map the hotel provide you) which was on private land, we paid a small entrance fee to the owner then had a beautiful 10 minute walk to the waterfall where we were able to swim. We were the only people there! It was lovely. So lots to do around Santa Elena and would highly recommend the Arco Iris Lodge to base yourself.

Staff very friendly and couldn’t be more helpful. Room available early. Centre of Santa Marta. Great location.

The help to get to the hotel after my shuttles was canceled was outstanding and I am still amazed by the support to make a transport happen last minute.
