“Relaxed garden stay, just off busy road, good location for days out.”

Just off the main road so easy access, although we don’t have a car so getting to shops and cafes means walking on the road. We staying in the apartment which is clean and well catered for and we prepared our own breakfasts. Could do with a chopping board. There’s a lovely walk for amazing sunset Cerro Pinoccio but it was a long walk along a busy road.

Breakfast was good - no choice so the first day was food we don't normally eat. Nice dish of fruit though! The dogs were very sweet!

The freeing mountain house feeling, the view, the garden, the sunsets, the animals you can randomly see from the balcony on the trees and in the garden, the kindness of Ana, the dogs and the cat… So many things to love here!

We really enjoyed our time in ArteSAna! We stayed only for two days,I wished we could have stayed longer. You feel relaxed and close to nature here. Everything was clean. Anna was friendly, hospitable and communicative. We loved her two dogs! She has created a place with a unique energy that matches her own. Thank you Anna, hope to see you again in the future! We had a car so it was easy for us to go to town of Santa Elena I dont know how easy it can be if someone has to walk

Ana has created a very nice hideaway closely to Monteverde. The apartment was very cute and lovely decorated with lots of details. We had a small kitchen and loved making our own food there. Ana was so lovely and helpful, making reservations for us and helping us with nice recommendations in the area. Lovely stay, highly recommended!

Everything was perfect! Ana is an amazing host, very friendly, gave us good recommendations on what to do in the area and even booked us a canopy tour. The room is big, comfortable, with everything needed and with amazing views of the gorgeous garden.

Beautiful house in the middle of the green hills of Monteverde. The view from the room was simply stunning, especially at sunset. Ana was a great host and she took good care of us. Good and quiet location.

The place and room is simple but beautiful with special atmosphere. We had the upstairs room which was spacious and well equipped. Beautiful views were a bonus. The host is super lovely and very helpful. WiFi connection was good. Location is a bit out of main village/town but still 5 mins by car and it’s in between all the main attractions in the area so it’s actually quite convenient.

We loved everything about this stay! Ana was very accommodating, and she even went out of her way to help us make reservations for ziplining. The breakfast was delicious, and the view/sunset from the room was outstanding. I also really loved her sheets/bed - very comfortable. Close to Monteverde National Park and other restaurants in town.

Very friendly owner who are open and helpful with anything you need anytime; yummy breakfast with fresh fruits, coffee and everyday different side dishes (ask for Costa Rican food); super located near Santa Elena restaurants, cafés, supermarkets etc; and tranquility in the apartment and surrounding with a beautiful view over the mountains and to the ocean!
