Friendliest staff I've ever met, who went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful time and got to do everything I wanted to do in Monterrico. (Notably: arranged a private ride to the tortugario so I could help release baby sea turtles!) The restaurant was a real treat, super convenient, and the swimming pool was magic - I floated for hours. ADORABLE pets on site, a very cute dog and a few sweet little gatitos.

Great hotel with lush very beautiful garden. Clean fresh swimming pool and you see how they are taking care of the garden and pool. Family hotel with amazing hosts, they can help you with anything, starting with an excursion to the river to meet the sunrise and finishing with resolving stomach problems. Highly recommend it, we truly enjoyed our stay there.

The hotel is a delight to stay at with great rooms, one of the largest pools in town, and wonderful and friendly hosts. The hotel is also located across the street from the beach and is a short walk from the main street where restaurants, stores, and ATMs are located. On this most recent visit, I was pleasantly surprised as the rooms have been refreshed from top to bottom with new paint, floors, bathroom fixtures and more! Another welcome change is that agua pura is now complementary with staff bringing an ice cold refillable glass bottle to your room at check-in. And there's an included breakfast for hotel guests.

This is a family-run hotel and they are all lovely....really friendly and helpful. After three days, I felt like one of the family! The hotel is only a five minute walk from the centre and the swimming pool is the best in town. The food was tasty and the portions are generous. It was a lovely, relaxing stay.

Absolutely wonderful place! Huge pool surrounded by a beautiful and lush garden with an occasional hummingbird! to the beach its just across the street. the place is run by a lady and her mother who are just the nicest people you can think of. my room was a bit older, but there is a lot of renovation going on (although not noisy!) and I've seen some of the new rooms and they are very stylish! would definitely go again!

Loved the pool. Nice size and lots of sunshine. Surrounded by a beautiful garden. The owner was attentive and checked to see how we were a couple of times during the weekend. The whole family was GLAD it had A/C.

Breakfast was good and room was clean, the bathroom in the room also has a great shower.
