Fantastic host. Perfect location. Lovely room with everything you may need during short vacation. Great breakfast with the possibility to eat on the terrace and enjoy the sea view. We loved the stay and will definitely come back!

The balcony was nice. The host very accommodating, showed us to the room, offered to carry bags and gave us a take away breakfast as he knew we had to leave early. Worth staying!

It is a very nice hotel and Gabriele is very helpful providing information about the restaurants, hiking routes etc. The location was also great. It is within walking distance from the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. I could walk to other villages Vernazza, Corniglia etc. Wonderful route! I enjoyed breakfast on the terrace with lovely view.

The owner of this place Mr. Gabriell is the person, who would show everyone how to manage a hotel business. From the first time you set foot to this place, Mr. Gabriell explains everything what you would need to know. You can see how passionate and helpful he is when you talk to him. It really is magnificent how he manage to keep this place soulful, clean and fresh-looking just by himself and couple cleaning staff. I'm gonna recommend this place everyone around me. The host Albergo was amazing and his hospitality made for a great stay. The breakfast and coffee each morning on the terrace was remarkable and the location is perfect. Albergo took the time to explain the hiking and also give great recommendations for dinners. I can’t wait to come back on my next trip to cinque Terre.

The highlight of our stay was definitely the manager, Gabriele. He was extremely kind, welcoming, and always available to help. He gave us many useful recommendations about the area, restaurants, and things to do, which made our experience even better. His hospitality really made a difference. The view from the terrace was absolutely beautiful. The hotel itself was clean, tidy, and well organized. The room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and overall the atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing.

“Beautiful boutique property that feels like staying with your favorite uncle over a 5-star chain”

Stella is a wonderful family run boutique hotel just beside the main street of Monterosso. Gabriel the manager is a legend, and delivers Southeast Asia luxury suite stay butler level service. He pays attention to the small details, from offering to add some of my laundry to the hotel sheets, to leaving breakfast in my room the night before I was checking out. Gabriel makes the property feel like staying with your favorite uncle. The breakfast room is beautiful, the top floor of the building with views of the plaza clock tower and the sea in the distance. It fills with gentle morning sunlight for a serene breakfast, and has an outdoor terrace. There is a generous spread that maximizes simple components, ranging from chopped strawberries and fresh fruit to yoghurt cups to toast with pate to freshly sliced cold cuts. The rooms are simple but have extra space, even large wardrobes. You could readily spend a few days in Stella, making it a seaside getaway instead of an overnight Cinque Terre stop.

Excellent location and lovely big room and en-suite, all spotlessly clean. The owner of the property looked after us very well and gave helpful suggestions of what to do. We enjoyed a delicious rooftop breakfast each morning. Montorosso was a lovely town to stay in.
