“Perfect choice for visiting Cinque Terre”

La Serra sul Mare is the perfect choice if you want to feel at home while visiting Cinque Terre. We started the day with an amazing breakfast (yes, the reviews are true, it is exceptional!), admiring the beautiful view from the terrace. Then we went to the city centre with the transfer (very practical, scheduled times to and from the city), and discovered the region (thanks for the useful tips), and ended the day with chilling on our own terrace. The owners are very-very nice, they do everything to make your holiday perfect. The apartment is very comfortable, there is even a fridge full of drinks to cool you off after a long day full of adventures. The parking place in front of the house is a huge bonus, not many places offer this. I would absolutely recommend this place to everyone who would like to have a great time in Cinque Terre.

Beautiful views, attentive host and the extravagant home made breakfast. The shuttle to easily get back and forth the town and welcome drinks and snacks were an added bonus.

A cozy little place just above Monterosso. The view is amazing, the rooms are quite large - ours came with a great balcony with view on the sea! - and the staff is incredibly kind and available, even offering a free shuttle service to and from Monterosso! The breakfast is generous and delicious.

My wife and I had four excellent nights at La Serra sul Mare. Very good accommodation, tastefully furnished to a high standard. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was a feast of lovely food each morning.

The view was gorgeous, the staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. The room lacked tissues. There were stink bugs in the room at least 5 that we killed. We had to pay for water ??? No free water bottles. The location was inconvenient. The shower shampoo pump did not work. The bottles were only a 1/3 filled? Also the towel warmer never worked and the bathroom smelled like the water system was a septic tank. The TV was very small. Overall it was fine but I would not recommend it.

The B&B was just superb. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious ~ home cooked food and masses of choice. The host was wonderful, so kind and helpful, and full of great advice about what to do and where to eat.

The location of is superb, its a little away from the beach but with the best view to start the day. Amazing breakfast and hospitality. They provide free shuttle from/to the town so its convenient.

This is a small family -run B&B. The hosts are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are spacious, the view from the room is great and, best of all, the breakfast is superb.

The hosts are incredibly kind and helpful. There was great communication both before and during our stay. We arrived after the standard checkin/ office hours and Sabrina waited for us to ensure we could successfully get into our rooms, and to shuttle us to and from town for dinner. Rooms are comfortably decorated, very clean, and a great size. The homemade breakfasts exceeded our expectations, with large portions and new offerings every day.

1. The Host - Sabrina, was fantastic. She managed my many dietary intolerances wonderfully and specially made made me dishes I could eat. 2 The Full Breakfast - Each breakfast was magnificent with different hot and cold dishes everyday. And the freshly baked breakfast tarts, pastries, tiramisu and crepes each morning were worth the price of admission. Also, we were so full that we skipped lunch (and the summer crowds) and continued our activities until the evening (of course with a few gelato and negroni stops along the way :)) 3. View - We booked a room with a sea view and it didn't disappoint. We woke up each morning to the spectacular ocean. 4. Accommodation - We knew that the accommodation was situated way up in the hills and the room itself was located up a slope with many steps to climb. Also the rooms are "cosy". So large heavy luggage is not recommended and we left our main luggage in Florence (there are many left luggage services all over Italy) Middle opening bags are also to be avoided as things can be a bit tight to lay out that type of bag configuration. 5. Shuttle and Bus services - The accommodation provides regular shuttle services to and from the town at prescribed hours. That worked like clockwork. We also found the public bus as convenient (the bus stop is just outside the accommodation) and gave us more options as to timings. We had purchased the Cinque Terra inter village train tickets and that also allowed us access to the public bus. 6. We'd like to thank Sabrina, Francesca and Claudio for making our stay such an awesome one!
