I absolutely loved every minute of my stay at Tenuta Della Selva. Larissa and Rossy were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making the experience even more special. Ghino, the dog, was the cutest companion and added to the charm of the place. The views from the pool were stunning – truly postcard-worthy – and I loved the thoughtful touch of each apartment having its own assigned sunbeds, so there was never any rush or competition for a spot. The pool itself was very refreshing, though a bit on the cold side! The apartment was beautifully and tastefully furnished, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Pizza night, with Larissa making the pizzas herself, was a real highlight – absolutely delicious. The on-site wine and olive oil were both fantastic and reasonably priced, and we really enjoyed being able to order fresh bread delivered to our door each morning. The ping pong table was a fun addition, and the peaceful, secluded location offered a great sense of escape, while still being close enough to Siena for a quick trip. We did most of our shopping at a large Conad in Siena, but the small on-site shop was well stocked with essentials. Even on rainy days, the area remained beautiful. The views were spectacular and the whole setting offered a true Tuscan experience. I even loved spotting a few cows on the grounds!

“Super quiet and beautiful”

Very nice settings, well equipped kitchen, roomy, comfortable inside and outside. Lovely terrace and pool area. Shower with lots of water. Two welcoming hosts. All supper clean.

“Beautiful Apartment in Tranquil Tuscan Countryside”

We loved our short break at Tenuta della Selva and wish we could have stayed longer. The one bedroom apartment was clean, cool and spacious, well equipped and beautifully renovated. The bed was very comfortable with lovely bed linen and all windows have built in fly screens. There is no phone reception but excellent WiFi. Our outside patio area was so peaceful with lots of flowers and deck chairs as well as chairs and table - the perfect place to relax overlooking the countryside or inky black sky at night. All the old farm buildings have been beautifully restored and communal areas are well looked after with each apartment having its own designated area by the gorgeous pool. We also liked the recycling system which is easy to follow. Rosy and Elena were also very welcoming and helpful. We wished we had more luggage space to take home more of the estate's olive oil! We knew beforehand that the property was secluded so the drive up was not a problem. It's 7 minutes on the gravelled road so the hire car got a bit dusty but we were only in and out once a day. We also stocked up at a big supermarket en route as the property description makes clear it is isolated. We visited Siena one day and toured the typical Tuscan countryside around Pienza (very pretty town) another. But we were always happy to get back to Tenuta della Selva for a swim and to relax in such beautiful tranquil surroundings.

Very peaceful, tranquil location. This is off the beaten track in the Tuscan countryside and a lovely place to relax for a few days. The property is well equipped for self catering and the pool is lovely to cool off in.

“Beautifully peaceful”

Really beautiful location on a huge property, so it was really peaceful and quite. Watching the sunset over the pond with the hills in the distance was spectacular. It is quite isolated though, so if that's what you are aiming for, perfect. Otherwise it is a 15-20 minute drive to the nearest towns. Max was amazing, and we had a reall great pasta making class with her. She was super helpful with everything we asked about, recommending places to go for dinner, and helped us book a reservation when we were struggling to find a spot on a Monday night.

“Unique Place to stay”

Very unique accommodation off the beaten path. We stayed in the old tower with the nice rootop. Reception and the apartments are spread over a huge area with good vibes. Comfortable bed, kind hosts. Well equipped apartment.

Very beautiful views, especially from the pool. It’s verg quiet. Also very spacious apartments, friendly staff and very clean. Don’t need the airco, it’s cool inside.

Great location, far out in the middle of nature. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings, the pool and the view and the sounds of nature. I also really appreciated that you can sort the waste for recycling. I find it really important to travel responsably and to keep my impact on the environment as low as possible.

Everything was clean and perfect in the apartment. The location is very nice, surrounded by nature away from the roads. And it’s well situated to visit Siena and the Val d’Orcia. Rosy is a great host, very attentive to all demands

The surroundings were stunning and so calm, and the house was cozy and very clean. We loved the roof terrace!

It was super calm and quite. I loved the swimming pool and the view. It was really clean as well. The appartments had it all that was needed for our stay.

“Perfect location in Tuscan countryside”

We really enjoyed our vacation at Tenuta Della Selva in the Tuscan countryside. Our apartment was clean and spacious, the private rooftop terrace provided a beautiful view over tuscany. It takes a 5 minute drive on a dirt road to get to the accommodation. Once you get there you are rewarded with the peace and beauty of the property.
