“One night on Via Francigena route”

Quaint Italian apartment which was very roomy, clean and comfortable. Great communication with host via WhatsApp so instructions were clear. I was allowed to check in early which was great after a hot Via Francigena walk.

A charming ground level apartment in an old building. It was comfortable and we had everything that we needed for a short stay.

Lovely rustic accom with interesting furniture. Loved the swingle-tree that had been converted to a lighting feature in the kitchen. Everything was clean and well-maintained and in good working order. We cooked in the kitchen and found everything we needed. Dear wee courtyard area too. Just around the corner from the main street too, and 10 minutes walk to the supermarket.

This is a gem! Amazing hosts, very kind and clearly wanting to do anything to make your stay comfortable and do in person check in. Lovely yard and good parking. Nice town with good access to Siena by a very short and beautiful drive. Recommend highway SS2 if coming from Rome, what a lovely way to see the country and this was the prefect destination. Can't remember ever giving a place 10 but truly no drawbacks, so clean, beds so comfy and sheets were very cozy and high quality. Really gives the feel that you are staying at your Italian grandparents for the night with lovely rustic feel and vintage decoration

“Atmospheric rustic home in Tuscany”

The atmosphere of the place was fantastic- it is an old Tuscany house, decorated in a traditional way, with massive kitchen/living room, and a bedroom furnished with antique furniture. The terrace is also very cozy, we wish mosquitoes were not around. It is also very close to Siena (20 min by car) and scenic drives in Tuscany. Choose this place i you are road-tripping in Tuscany

It was the entire flat, clean, you could cook. Lots hot water. The heating was on as the weather was not so good. Not much to do here but perfect for the Via Francigena. Coop not to far.

Great size unit below the owners who were very friendly and informative. Very authentic. Location was great off the Via Francigena for breaking up a long day. A short residential walk to a major grocer for a full shop and supplies for a well stocked kitchen or a restaurant steps away. Bed was comfortable, shower was great. Easy access to get back on the trail. A quiet and nice stop.

“Pleasant stay in the middle of Toscana.”

It is a really interesting old house with old furniture and things from the olden days. Everything is in a good shape, the bed linens had a pleasant smell and we really enjoyed sleeping there. The host is a warm and lovely young granny :). Although we were a bit late, she waited for us with tea and coffees (decaf for that evening and normal for the morning).
